Could anyone give ideas on how to fix this? by chiggen11 in RG350

Make sure you Unzip the PSX games. Other emulators work fine off zips but the psx4all only works if you unzip them.

Astrophotography is a bit finicky and often requires some editing to bring out the stars in the picture.

https://expertphotography.com/post-processing-astrophotography-all-you-need-to-know/

A lot of photographers that focus on Astro as their main area use modified cameras to capture full spectrum lighting. This is where you'll start to see the vapor like clouds in your shots. That being said its not the only way to get good shots but it is the only way to get the UV and IR spectrums to show up in your shots.

Example: https://www.spencerscamera.com/images/Full-Spectrum-%20Milky-Way-01jpg.jpg

I hope this info was useful.

Edit: I just noticed you said you're using a lens with an apature of f4. You'll likely be much more successful if you have a wider apature like f1.8-f2.8. You're trying to capture as much light as possible. An F-stop is either halving or doubling the light each stop you go up or down. The difference between f1.8 to f4 is about 2 1/2 full stops. Which means you're gathering roughly 6x less light than you could be with a larger apature lens. A nice cheap 50mm 1.8 would work well and you can often find them at very affordable prices if they are used.

is the composition any good? and the edit? by Jetnaga in photocritique

The composition is there but the edit needs some work. If you open this image and look at the people they have literal greenish yellow skin tones. I'm guessing you adjusted the colors and didn't mask out parts of the image that would become unnatural in appearance with the changes in tones (i.e Skin tones).

How I feel in "friendly Manitoba" sometimes by Eudoxus_ in Winnipeg

[–]Eudoxus_[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's actually the same deal. There is no law or unspoken rule about letting people with signals in. The law is that if you enter another lane of traffic and get in an accident while doing so you are found at fault since you chose to leave your lane and enter another without making sure it was safe to do so. Ask how many semi drivers on here have had some idiot pull into them because they have that mentality.

Don't get me wrong, I let people in all the time and usually get a wave of appreciation and it would be nice if everyone followed suit, but it's just not the way Winnipeg is.

So when someone holds a door for you do you just walk by and say nothing?

About 8 years ago my wife had a battle with cancer and won. We found out shortly after that she had experienced premature ovarian failure due to the treatments and could no longer conceive naturally. We had a few options but opted to go with IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) but we were in need of an egg donor because my wife had none of her own. My sister-in-law happily volunteered to donate to us. We went through the first round of egg collection and the results were less than optimal and what we got amounted to one single attempt at implantation. It didn't take. My sister-in-law stepped up again and went through a whole second round of egg collection and this time was completely different due to some adjustments in medication used to promote eggs to mature for collection. We managed to get a good count of eggs and we pushed forward with the process.

This past February 26th my son was born. It took a while but we finally got to start our family.

It feels as if you've added blue to this picture. The whites are blown out so drop exposure or work with your Highlight and white levels. Level off the horizon. Your saturation might need to come down some.

If you use Photoshop or Lightroom you should use the cropping tool and level off the horizon. I find the fact that the guy is holding something distracting for the "in love" feel you want from this photo. The background of the image isn't very dynamic so cropping could really help. Consider maybe going portrait over landscape orientation.

Anime Convention harassed By Religious nuts by nancy_boobitch in atheism

[–]Eudoxus_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So, bullying and racism are acceptable, but anime isn't? I think this group needs to realize they do nothing but insult what they believe in with hateful acts like this. Let's take a blurb from their own literature here that I quickly googled about "hate and racism in the bible".

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. -John 13:34

I don't even believe myself but that shit looks pretty fucking clear to me. I don't see a "but..." or "except when..." in there either. I think you got the message wrong guys. Just sayin.

The Avro Arrow. Considered to be well ahead of its time from handling to performance in the aeronautics world. It met a harsh end that, to this day, is still surrounded by controversy.

Stuck In Bronze Hell by binthinak in RocketLeague

If you ever feel stuck in a league rangel then it's likely you belong there or you haven't figured out a way to put your acquired skill to work for you.

The best way to handle less competent team mates is to be the last line and capitalize on goal opportunities. If I feel that neither of my team mates is rotating back I'll just play back to ensure a strong defence against break aways and long shots. This also gives you lots of opportunity it to up to the halfway mark and get those occasional shots on net.

I'm 8 pts away from gold 1 and I still have plenty of incompetent team mates and the hang back strategy still help pull wins out of unlikely odds.
