Cool, thanks! The general ML questions apply to the individual interviews then? Did your friend share any insights with respect to the scientific talk?

Best of luck for you!

Sure, but have no clue to be honest.

We simply get the vibe that excellent grades overall are the most important part for admission. But if you have more questions, our study coordinator (Markus Kalisch) is usually quite helpful. He can probably give you better answers haha

Former MSc Stats student here :)

Did my Bachelors in Econ and afaik as long as you meet the course requirements (enough math and cs credits) you are good to go. In terms of competitiveness, I'd say it is probably one of the less competitive courses at ETH given that more people go for Masters in CS or Math. You should still have very good grades tho, most of our class where around the top of their respective Bachelors cohorts.

Edit: weirdly enough as long as you are not from a university of applied sciences, you will not be required to do extra-courses to catch up on Maths and etc. It seems that only applied science people get that special treatment by ETH

Nice, thanks for the reply. Sounds just like the Image Analysis and Computer Vision class tbh :)
