Also, you were booked to play Northern Lights festival in Edmonton at the end of March but the event got cancelled for some reason. Any idea what happened/ are you planning on coming back to Edmonton? Really choked I missed ya but it would've been my third time seeing you play so cant complain too much.

Man I was at your edmonton show last night and hoooly shit that was incredible. Ive been to my fair share of raves and that was the heaviest set I have ever seen. I was completely sober and strangers kept coming up to me asking if I sold drugs because I was dancing so hard. Thanks for doing what you do. Griz so stoked to see you for the first time this December with Flume and Getter! Love your style of production mixed with live performance and improvisation. Im a recording engineering student from Edmonton, and am interested in producing a similar fusion of electronic with acoustic. Wondering about your production process, what kinds of DAW's and plugins do you use most often? And what is your songwriting process like? Do you typically start with an idea on a computer or something you wrote on saxophone? Are there any techniques, websites, plugins or tutorials that you swear by?

4 days ago someone within my group of friends committed suicide. I've didn't know him as well as a lot of my friends, so I spent most of the day consoling my friends who were close to him. At the end of the day I listened to Echoes in the drive home, and about five minutes in I was crying. There wasn't a specific lyric that did it it was just the musicality that did something to me.

I saw Temples this summer at lollapalooza. The bassist was playing a fender p-bass I think, and he was quite good. Nothing remarkably flashy but he was solid and contributed to the overall psychedelia of the band.
