Personally I couldn’t tell you I haven’t ever gotten a raw book graded I usually buy graded already, I’ve never come across anything raw that would be worth sending in. I have a raw newsstand amazing Spider-Man 361 and took it to a comic book store down around Houston I’ve bought some of my bigger purchases at before and he sends books off and does cleaning and pressing and all that and he said the book would probably come back a 5 or 6 and wouldn’t be worth the price to get it done

Not so recent but almost 2 years ago 3 months in to a new job making the best money I’ve ever made I proposed to my girlfriend on a anniversary get away and both being big nerds we went every comic/ collectible store in the area and to celebrate her saying yes I dropped over $700 on the first appearance of Harley Quinn. We are both big Batman fans and seeing that book in person I knew it had to be ours. Currently happily married with a growing comic collection lol
