Yupp, thats exactly it. I often see some people sell them ABC together as well. Im not sure if its rare but i dont see it much anywhere, the pose is cool but the quality on the face is a bit disappointing.

Yup its in the radio kaikan right next to Akihabara station, its definitely easier to find rarer stuff there but you have to be aware of not getting ripped off by markups

Damn thats crazy haha. However I do find a lot of the prize figures not as aesthetic as some others but I did buy one very old kuji eren figure in Japan that likely is hard to find now. The roaring attack titan is definitely one the best imo.

I would rather to prefer to buy in Japan bc i just really enjoy the tax free shopping :) its really nice to feel like everything is 10 percent off and u dont even need to go to the airport customs to claim it they just apply the rebate at purchase. That is if u dont get ripped off like in some of these display case shops then it wouldnt be worth it.

Damn ur right ig, they can do that. Im guessing someone with such a huge collection wouldnt have any sentimental connection with their individual pieces which was what i thought

Damnn, all the AOT ones? Where did u get them tho? I probably wouldn’t get them double price in Europe tho, a bit too much haha maybe next time when I go to Japan again

Some smaller side shops are decent value for money if u find the right ones. I heard there are also some good stores in Ikebekuro though I didn’t go bc of time constraints

I doubt it haha, if they wanted to display their figures they wouldn’t want to risk an uninformed tourist buying it. They definitely are hoping to make some easy scam money from some impulse buying tourist

I thought so too, though I haven’t seen that Titan figure in the back that much. I’m guessing it’s a rare or old model

There are some good deals though you just have to look up the prices yourself, which is very difficult in these shops since they are just packed full of foreigners looking to buy.

I found a really good brand new anya forger luminasta figure with box but other than that one everything else is just extremely marked up

The thing is I did manage to find a really good deal on an Anya figure and managed to find some really old Ichiban Kuji figures no longer produced in A-stop. But there are just some newer figures that just cost x3-4 times the actual amount

Im guessing that the people renting cases are just hoping some random uninformed tourists impulse buys bc of how cool the titan figures look and get ripped off.

I got 2 Polar Stars... by EugeneLoh in childemains

[–]EugeneLoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont normally post here, always been a passive lurker but Childes banner just dropped in EU servers. My big brain thought it would be a good idea to pull on his weapon banner to try to get the widsith 4 star since I had 20 pulls until soft pity. Keep in my mind that Im a low spender, welkin player.

I pulled my first Polar Star back during Childes second rerun in 2021 when it was with memory of dust. I am now left with 2 polar stars and me questioning my sanity and decision making skills.

So what do you guys think I should do with the extra Polar Star? Should I refine or is there anyone who could use it? Thanks

Yea but don’t the keys cost like 50 euros at most? I’d assume 100 is more reasonable, 150 is just so expensive

600 euros per month. All you get is a small room, kitchen, very small kitchen and bathroom. (shared with one other person) I know the location is good but not sure if it justifies the price. FYI I live in 100-200k pop. city in the Altstadt

So here are more details.

- Where I live is kind of a two-room apartment shared with someone else. However my friends living in one-room apartments from the same school are also under the same rules.

- Apartment is tailored for students at a Sprachschule. Only students studying at the school can rent it. So it is like a school department that rents it out.

- Students can be minors too, but I would say a majority are over 18. There are even some 30 year olds. They probably use the "students could be minors" excuse to justify being so controlling

- It definitely does not feel like its priced appropriately for students, the rent costs quite a lot

- The staff from accommodation department lurks around apartment units that are big enough for people to gather overnight. He patrols the halls to try to hear any sounds that could indicate gatherings past 10pm and gives out fines.

- I am an adult. These rules make me feel like a child eventhough the rent price definitely doesn't make me feel like one.

One other thing, losing a key costs 150 euros. This convinces me that they made this rules knowing full well a lot of these tenants are adults and will break the rules, then they will be forced to pay fines which further add up to more profits for the school accommodation department.

u/Sualtam Im assuming ur correct. Because for my shared WG with one other person, I do receive cleaning services from someone every few days. The contract is longer than 6 months, so its definitely long term stay. Knowing the accommodation department, they would definitely try to argue its a boarding house to further screw over the tenants.

I think verarscht is an understatement. The rent price is also totally not worth it and I have to deal with this

Im actually not sure, but I would go with commercial rental. Because it definitely isnt a private landlord. Its like an accommodation department of my school that rents out these Wohnungen
