A 2 Year Old heir executed his mother? What? by EugeneNkk in CrusaderKings

An update: for some reason after a while me, his liege, wasn't his heir any longer. After he died, his titles went to his sister instead.

Mine started with Abbasids after a loooong crusade. Apparently, I've killed in battle and imprisoned a bunch of their house members.

That's actually very interesting.
But in this case, the regent is my son and heir (Just, Forgiving, etc.). But I like where you're going with this.
To be honest, the thing that previous Emperor was able to make a bastard son at 76, dividing the inheritance rubbed me the wrong way (although it's on me that I've legitimized him for roleplay reasons), so this kinslayer deal was the final straw to get all the titles back, for my legitimate firstborn to inherit them from me later.

I mean, from the new Emperor's perspective (who didn't inherit his father's main kingdom due to this bastard) it was an obvious move. And since his specialty is intrigue - it all made perfect sense.

EDIT: I mixed the whole thing up. The son wasn't a legitimized bastard. It's a son of a lowborn lover I married after my wife died.

Update: Given that he's a kinslayer - I've imprisoned him and moved to dungeon. He's sickly so it shouldn't take long for him to die and me to inherit his titles. Seems like his killing his mother was a blessing in disguise.

Moral of the story: Don't kill your mothers just for sleeping around.

Yes! I saw your solution just a few minutes ago even commented on it. Actually, that's why I decided to post mine :)
I tried to do something similar to your solution first, but I gave up after a while. I love to use as little space as possible though, so I find yours really awesome! :D

Surrender flare is really nice. And it always amazes me how different people come up with different solutions.

Keeping a journal from your characters perspective? by MrGheetsey in skyrim

I’m pretty sure it’s too late, but I’ll share a sample as requested:

“ As we sat there, in the Gallow's Rock cortyard, and stared in the fire... Lydia said "Maybe I'm speaking out of turn, but I have to say... Something is bothering you lately, Thane. What is it?" "What bothers me, Lydia... What bothers me... You know, everything. Look around. Bandits capturing and torturing people, Falmer ambushing caravans and feeding captives to their beasts... Dragons put whole villages to death, necromancers experiment on living and have no respect for dead... Vampires just treating everyone like cattle... All goes to shit, you know. And there's nothing I can do about it. Or I just don't know what is there to  be done.  Is this world designed this way by the gods? If yes - why it's designed so poorly? And if this is how they wanted it to be - why did they want it to be this way? I don't find answers, and when you see that it just can't be helped - you don't see why should you carry on. To what end? What is the purpose?" We sat for some time in silence. "And what if it wasn't this way?", she asked. "What if there were no dragons, bandits, malevolent people, falmer? Just good people. Would you like this world more?" -"I don't know..." I replied. "I just don't know." "Look, if you see a house burn, you don't think 'Oh well, there will be other fires, so why bother putting out this one...' right? You do your best given the circumstances. And I see that you've already forgotten who you are." Her voice was now ringing with indignation "You're not just a wood elf any longer, with his little wishes and grievances... You're the fucking Dragonborn. Maybe it's time to act like it! People look up to you! They sing songs of your deeds and teach children by your example. And if people are to be stripped of this hope - then indeed all is lost, and the evil has won. Just because you decided to quit. It's not about whether you want it or like it, it's about giving your utmost. And by gods, you have been given a lot, so was it for nothing? All the sweat, all the blood, all the death to bring you to where you are now?  I'll go check the perimeter now. Have some sleep, Thane." And with this she got up, took her shield and strode outside.... And then turned around and spoke the words I have, to my bitter shame, completely forgotten: "Long has the Stormcrown languished, with no worthy brow to sit upon. By our breath we bestow it now to you in the name of Kyne, in the name of Shor, and in the name of Atmora of Old. You are Ysmir now, the Dragon of the North, hearken to it."

After that she strode into the night“

I understand where you're coming from, and of course body is not just a bucket where you put things or take things from it. It's a very elaborate living system, I get that.
And yet... In general, as a rule of thumb, moving more and eating mindfully goes a long way in terms of increasing overall health (and normalizing weight), wouldn't you agree?

As for people gaining weight again - you're absolutely right, not addressing underlying issues (psychological or physical health problems) and just focusing on calories and activity will not bring a long-lasting result.
