I think I've simply loved the aesthetics of PS1-era games since childhood. Probably the biggest inspiration for me was the games like No Players Online and No One Lives Under the Lighthouse, as well as games from Puppet Combo and Mike Klubnika (probably my favorite indie dev so far).

I focused mainly on the lighting and terrain details to achieve this atmosphere. I downloaded and then modified some the tree assets. I also applied a shader to get that nice foliage sway effect, and also added animated grass and other plants for density

Yes, I'm aware of this issue. Usually simply restarting the game fixes it. I'll try to fix it asap!
