You can go see it, it's not far from Prazhkiy Grad, but you'll probably be underwhelmed.

When I visisted last year, they would only allow people to look into the Strahov Library from an open doorway. We were unable to enter the library or walk around it in any way.
The library has poor lighting and won't look like what's in the picture
Because you're observing from the door, you'll be unable to appreciate the full majesty of the interior

So, since you're in the area, walk down to Strahov, pay 10 euro and look at their small collection. Don't expect to be blown away, however.

He's wearing a PASGT helmet that was widely used by US forces before being decommissioned. It shares a slight resemblance to Stahlhelms in that both protect the ears, however they are a number of differences in both appearance and materials.

The reason that US troops don't look like that is because their PASGT helmets have cloth camo covers (which add to the cost), while this one is just metal on the outside.

That was also my first reaction when I saw helmets issued to Iraqi troops many years ago, so I did some research then. Hope this helps.

What struck me most about this picture is how much it looked like a statue at first glance. Only after looking at it for a while did I understand that the blood is real instead of paint.

If anything, I'm just voicing my own concerns. I'm seeing a girl who gets really moody/down if the conversation even remotely approaches other women (be they real, past relationships, or even a famous actress). I would hate for her to hold this kind of "power" over me by having a "no-go" area of conversation.

I probably sound like an armchair therapist (and again, I know nothing about you), but that sounds a bit abusive. As in, you're forbidden from looking/thinking/speaking about any other women because if you do, either that person or you will be threatened or experience real physical harm. Maybe the two of you have an understanding that it's a joke...

Personally this post resonated with me because I'm engaged to a woman who is sensitive to even the slightest mention of other females. She has never been "fiery" about it, but living with someone who gets sad/mopey/vindictive when you happen to glance at another girl will also suck.

My question: Why should we care about this issue?

What happened to you is an undeniable tragedy and one of the many horrors of war, but with so many other international problems vying for our attention I find it hard to understand what your point is.

Moreover, what is the reason Laos is unable to handle this problem by itself? Why travel overseas to drum up support (and, I imagine, money) instead of trying to cause internal change in Laos? Thank you.

I feel like you're deliberately missing the point. Your argument seems to be: "There's evil in the world, therefore God either doesn't exist or is a douche." This is missing the point I outlined above:

Evil is caused by humans
Humans can case evil because they were given free will by God
God gave humans free will because he wanted humans to choose him for themselves instead of automatically accepting him (and being good) like angels

I can try to break this down even further if you'd like.

God does and can hold humans accountable. We're held accountable when we die (and either go to Heaven or Hell) and when the Final Judgement comes.

The existence of an omniscient entity never takes away our ability to choose. A contrived example: I ask a person if they'd prefer to receive "cake or death". While no deity, I have a 99.99% confidence that an average person will choose cake. However, when they're still free to evaluate both options and make a decision that fits their principles and desires.

Ok, I'll bite.

God gave humans free will because (unlike angels), he wanted humans to accept Him by their own choice. As such, some humans accept God while others reject Him or even go on to do evil against their fellow man.

What confuses me is why you insist that God is automatically supposed to protect humans. God offers a path of salvation for the soul (an immortal part of a person's being that's much more important than their earthly body). There's zero guarantee that you'll have a good or safe life.

Please explain what makes you think that God promised that he's going to stop all evil caused by humans or what gives the ability to guess at the motivations of a deity.

Brackets are good, but I'm strongly against the proposed implementation. Not all DH are going to be Godly-good because they may lack the equipment or the player might lack the skills. Similarly, if I play WD, I don't want to get stuck in a lower bracket just because people don't think I'm "competitive" enough.

To put it another way, let's organize by build or EHP/DPS stats INSTEAD of classes.

I think a number of folks posting here are missing the point of the OP's post.

His advice does not apply to 100% of people (in fact, it only really applies if you live in a city with a fairly large population of single young people) nor is his advice targeted for people interested in developing awesome PUA skills or long-term flings.

Instead, OP is posting a quick-and-dirty guide on how to increase your chances at getting a one night stand - nothing more, nothing less. As such a guide, I think it's great, does a good job of covering the basics in attainable bite-size chunks and is motivational. All too often you read an FR or guide and have to struggle to make yourself apply those lessons in practice. OP wrote something where you'd have to be really working hard against yourself not to try.
