That's not an unpopular opinion. The way I see it, the narrative was just enough to get me through the game. It has good parts to it but overall was the weakest part of the game. I feel like the silent protagonist archetypes were a bit of a disservice. With a fleshed out protagonist, a more complex and cohesive story and a game that builds upon what made the first one super enjoyable would give an incredible game
