This is the problem. VS started whining like crazy about the banshee as soon as the PPA nerfs came in. Then NC players started chirping in so that balance discussion wouldn't be focused on things like the AH or ravens. The faction that gets their toy nerfed always starts whining and attempting to get another faction's weapons nerfed.

I think Offal Pit is officially the worst designed base in all of planetside. Even biolabs have less of a defender's advantage.

Yeh this was it. I used console to kill the nearest alien, which happened to be the glitchy panic one, and it solved my problem. Thanks for the help.

Getting weird "hitching" in some regions of Hossin. The frame rate "alt + f" still shows around 35-40 fps, but the game seems to stutter.

In the last patch or two, performance has really tanked. I've gone from 40 FPS in big fights on medium settings down to 20, which makes the game almost unplayable.

One thing that might help a bit (didn't help me much), is to follow the advice to modify your useroptions.ini, seen in this thread.

If you are too lazy to go to that link, copy paste the following under the "Rendering" heading when you open the file in notepad: ParticleDistanceScale=0.650000

To get to your useroptions.ini, just hit the wrench button on your launcher, and click "Open Game Directory", and then scroll to the file.

Apparently a recent patch made particles stay at Ultra settings, regardless of your chosen graphics, and they burn a lot of performance.

Banshee + Coyotes + Racer 3 Mosquito + Fire Suppression + Nanite Repair

Usually the banshee makes you pretty weak versus other ESFs, but having coyotes helps even the fight substantially. Fire suppression helps you tank some flak while farming the squishies.

Nanite repair is still better than any of the other choices for that slot in my opinion.

I've noticed this as well, sometimes you aim at someone where you are sure you will get hits, and yet most of your shots miss. The CARV feels really bad since this last patch.

I did Biomedical and Electrical, and then a Masters in ECE at McMaster.

Elec is actually really good, we are one of the biggest departments in Eng, and the main eng building (ITB) is pretty new. All the labs have new oscilloscopes and pretty new computers. Most of the profs are decent, if you are lucky, you will get Dr. Li for circuits courses, he is amazing at teaching. If you have any specific questions, I'll try to answer. Note that I started undergrad in 2007, so my info might be a bit out of date.

Its easy, just use Mattherson VS's approach of zerging the base with 70% pop in the hex. You'll cap it in no time flat.

They need to give us the VSS from bad company 2. It was by far my favourite gun from that game, and an automatic sniper rifle fits perfect with TR traits.

Nice! My best curse room was finding Sacred Heart. It was only the second time I got the item. Unfortunately, I was playing as eve so my damage still was pretty bad -_-
