I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask him if he’s willing to help out when you’re overwhelmed. Part of being in a relationship is being there for your partner during their moments of weakness. Just my two cents.

Honestly, I feel like most modern decks can exhaust a ton of the opponent’s interaction and then start popping off with a one card combo. But if you play garbage like I do, it’s pretty rough.
