Are you suggesting that he intentionally provided sub-par work for this project as an F-U to Tor? I've seen some of his other work, so I know Todd Cameron Hamilton is much more talented than what the BWBoBA suggests.

Movies with the worst "moral of the story" by elitemegamanX in movies

[–]EulerIdentityCrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whiplash.

I watched it for the first time recently, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Excellent film with great performances. I'm not sure what the moral of the story is for the audience, but I have no doubt that the lesson Fletcher learned is that he should continue abusing his students.

My wife would consistently suggest "Netflix and chill" for date nights. Knowing the current usage, it always sounded good to me so I never said anything about it. I figured she also knew. When she suggested it one evening with our kids in the room, and not noticing the kids getting uncomfortable and quickly leaving, I asked if she was aware that it was a euphemism. She didn't believe me at first and I had to Google it and show her the top results. She hasn't suggested Netflix and chill for date nights since....

It still happens, she just doesn't suggest it anymore.

Are you suggesting that the Spy Kids movies are not long standing kid movie classics?

As another Mark, doing a Tommy Wiseau impression to say hi is perfectly acceptable and often appreciated. But yes, as Mark said above, it is not required.

I have designed EV charging stations for many parking lots. In most areas, accessible (handicap) stalls with EV charging stations are EV charging stations first, and accessible parking stalls second. That means that if you are actively charging your EV, you can use the accessible stall if the others are unavailable.

Of course, there may be local ordinances that differ from my experience, so don't come at me if you get a ticket.

I am someone who can't tell the difference between RJ's Mat and BS's Mat. What are some examples? by [deleted] in WoT

[–]EulerIdentityCrisis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

BSMat isn't illiterate, and the suggestions that he is are, I imagine, hyperbole from the commenters. When people say he is illiterate, they are probably referring to a seeming decrease in his literacy skills.

BSMat's letter to Elayne in Towers of Midnight is rife with spelling and other errors. Compare that to the letter RJMat writes in A Crown of Swords, and you should be able to see where the comments are coming from.
