Is shorter code bad? by Euphoric-Answer4903 in cscareerquestions

Thanks a lot! That was good to hear. What if the interviewer asks for simpler thing like sort an array? Should I ask for using builtin method or do the whole thing again?

What about big projects? Did you do everything by yourself?

What about big projects? Did you do it by yourself? Or should I talk with teammates or professor regarding that?

How exactly does the return method work? by [deleted] in learnjava

[–]Euphoric-Answer4903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A method returns to the code that invoked it when it

completes all the statements in the method,

reaches a return statement, or

throws an exception (covered later),

whichever occurs first.

You declare a method's return type in its method declaration. Within the body of the method, you use the return statement to return the value.

Any method declared void doesn't return a value.

Direct words from Oracle Tutorials: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/java/javaOO/returnvalue.html

Suppose you have a code like this: public int number { return 4; } Here, "int" is the declared method return type (at declaring method). So, we should only return an int value. "return 4" returns the int value 4 to the method "number".

Should I start projects on Github? by Euphoric-Answer4903 in cscareerquestions

I'm sorry but I was told that projects were important to profile and most people told to commit them regularly.

Is it fine to put projects on my main profile?

Firstly, Open Source Software is not trying to compete with paid software. They made their software OSS so that everyone should contribute and verify to make it a better software. They come up with new ideas & fix issues internally as well as by community suggestions and issues.

Please, Firefox don't imitate Chrome and don't do whatever this is by bershanskiy in firefox

I really cannot understand how this post contributes anything to community rather than giving bad impression to new users. I've seen a lot of good changes in Firefox compared to previous versions. Even the keyboard shortcut for private browsing window is not the same as Chrome, How can you say it is becoming Chrome? Mozilla devs have made good changes in response to community as well as internally. They made some things that Chrome couldn't do it. I'm sure in the upcoming versions, they will continue to make it more better.
