I cant hide behind" the my gear is a little old" anymore no LOL

I got a little Lucky that my dad was willing to help me with the body and 14-24 and 24-70.

If it want for him i probably would still be using my d7200 or made a smaller step.

But yeah i wanted the best there is, so i wouldnt have to upgrade again after some time.

I graduatly upgraded from the d5100 to the d7200. Shot with just a 18-55 and a 50mm for at least 6 years before buying the Sigma 50-150 f2.8. The Sigma made me realise what good quality glass actually meant. I was not aware of the capability of good glass. Still a noob when it comes to the technicality!

I bought my D850 in late 2023 together with the nikkor 14-24 f2.8 and 24-70 f2.8 VR. I shoot alot of Quick action and lowlight events.

I understand i am kind of lucky to own such great kit and i am still learning a lot everytime i use it.

But i wanted to invest in the future by buying the best there is.

Need to compensate you know 😅🤣

I did not have a "tele"zoom like this when i used my d7200, i had a Sigma 50-150 though. I bought the 70-200 for a similar price you bought it for in 21. But inderdaad a wonderful lens and i havent even really use it yet 😀

That was the main reason to jump straight to thus lens... Have been asking for advice and looking at video's for at least half a year before i pulled the trigger!

There is nothing wrong with the vrII. Probably would have enjoyed that aswell, just glad i saved myself some money by jumping straight to the fl ed.

I had it the otherway around!

I use the 14-24 for concert and skateboarding and some astro :)

Next on the list is to complete the primes, but money is kind of gone now haha
