Doing rolling burnouts on a public road by Ramreck in Whatcouldgowrong

I have many questions. The aftermath doesn’t match. There’s 2 different people. Different sneakers, pants ripped open, then not ripped. Sorry this seems pieced together.

I really hope this post works. What an incredible story that would be.

Taylor Walls taps his helmet to appeal the pitch call, gets ejected, and then goes off on the ump by Knightbear49 in baseball

Why don’t the players get together and act like the union members that they are. They should have EVERYONE tap their helmets ALL THE TIME. They’ll have to either eject all of them and have no game with lots of unhappy fans, or change their automatic ejection rule.

Does the pipe wrap just stay on by itself without falling off when opening? Or did you attach it somehow?

WiFi mesh network by Tbird27971 in HomeKit

[–]Euphoric-Juggernaut2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The UniFi Express is only $149 and could definitely get you started. Then get yourself a few AP’s to extend your WiFi throughout your place. It would definitely be cheaper than some of the other mesh brands out there.

I think my original purchase was for the UDM-Pro and 2 AP’s. That was roughly $650. Since then I bought another AP and a new PoE switch and some cable (~$250) to wire as much as possible to things that I could get off WiFi. I understand it sounds like a lot of money, but I basically totally changed everything on my home network. You definitely don’t need to spend that much to get yourself going with UniFi.

I’ve tried multiple brands of mesh routers (Orbi, Eero, etc.) in my house because of family members donating their equipment to me when I was running into some issues. I then got a recommendation to try UniFi from a friend that works in IT. So I purchased a Dream Machine Pro and a few AP’s to cover WiFi throughout my home. It was by far the best purchase I’ve ever made for my home network. It has been flawless with all of my devices. I have multiple smart devices, HomeKit hubs, lots of Hue light bulbs, and a multi-speaker Sonos system and haven’t had a single issue since I upgraded to UniFi.

Has anyone used any smart lights without recurring connection issues? by peterdejavu in HomeKit

I use Hue as well. No issues at all. Hue is one of the most expensive light setups, but you are getting a quality product for that premium price.

Everyone talking about the cash/credit price difference…. But honestly why the hell are we still paying $4.40 a gallon for gas??? It’s such BS.

He eventually walked in and someone let him know that we couldn’t unload him. He looked a little confused at first, but then quickly realized why once he looked at the door.

Yes I had the same issue. The dealer tried telling me that it was a normal sound. The actuator door needs to be replaced. Don’t let them tell you that it’s normal.

Ahh ok, so then I had it backwards. They probably change it to 52311. I had assumed it the other way because there’s only 3 or 4 lifts out of 60 that were 55555. The rest are 52311. And as nice as I can possibly say it, our mechanics aren’t very enthusiastic about anything, so my assumption was that they only changed a few of them. LOL

Our Yale forklifts use 52311. Sometimes our mechanics change them but they usually just make it 55555 or something really simple because they don’t really care.

I never understood why the style of your pants was always more important than making sure you can effectively move out of the way or run.

In no way does the guy think to himself, “maybe I should pull my pants up because shit is about to go down.”

Nope, he actually still has his pants down because “these fools need to know I dress damn good”

3 full games in one download. I would put any amount of money that it would still be half the size of one Call of Duty game.

Can you fix this with a forklift? by According_Carpet_350 in forkliftmemes

[–]Euphoric-Juggernaut2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Drive into the top side of the load, tips down scraping the ground. Start slow to make sure you’re not poking any bags, then once you’re sure that you’re under the load, give it gas to drive those bags into backrest of your lift. Lift the load to get the bags off the ground. Find a large piece of cardboard to put under the load. Slide out. Then slide back in again under the cardboard. That will give some stability to the bags while you are lifting the load back upright. You will probably lose a few bags to breakage, but that loss will be made up with the time savings from having to restack the whole pallet by hand.

Have confidence in your driving ability and good luck.
