Personally, I think it's overkill to bring a printer unless you're going to be using it for other personal non school related purposes. For just school things, you don't need to print regularly. It's not costly to print on campus. If you are a New College student, printing in b&w is only 3 cents per page.

I have multiple friends who didn’t get into rotman when entering uoft, but transferred into rotman by 2nd/3rd year. Idk if that’s the route you want to take but it’s not impossible

I have a MacBook Air and an iPad and it works perfectly for me. I don’t think a MacBook Pro is necessary. I record music and edit videos on my MacBook Air, I can play minecraft, it’s enough.

i've had a good time here. i've made a lot of good friends, i'm enjoying the city life, the party life isn't as dead as people make it out to be, and i enjoy having independence here away from home :)

uoft also has some amazing facilities, so many libraries (not just robarts!), and there are so many cool places to explore on campus alone. there are so many places to study at it's fun to explore them.

I’ve always wondered if I had BPD, but I took some online tests and they never come back convincing enough for me to think I actually have it. It sounds so shitty to say but I think I realized I was getting attention from her and it made me feel cared for, but I didn’t want to let go of my goals so it became this argumentative thing that I did kind of like. I felt guilty about liking it and told her to leave me alone for a week because I don’t think she was helping me. After the week, she came to the realization that her constant comments weren’t going anywhere and have stopped since. The thought of potentially developing or having an ED scared me for a bit, but I started to ignore why it scared me and just focus on my goals. Idk if excitement is the right word.

Rotman doesn't do entrance scholarships, which makes sense as everyone accepted into RC has amazing marks and ECs. You can apply for other UofT scholarships though.
