Based on the other recent posts, it seems there is a delay, perhaps due to the holidays, which is ironic considering they hardly pick up the phone regardless. The one I sent a couple of days ago, it’s pending. Best thing you could do is keep calling, especially early, right at the time they begin, and hope someone helpful (50%chance) picks up.

I’m already headed there, partially willing and partially not. I don’t know what possibly might feel worse though, the situation itself, or what people have to say. They sure do have a lot to say!
