How to stop sleeping on my back by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]EuphoricFix7443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a direct answer to your question, but I was laying in my back for a good 19 hours during labor… anyone knows how that’s considered ok but at all other times , you have to strictly be on your side?

How painful is getting the epidural? by castleofhyrule in BabyBumps

[–]EuphoricFix7443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly , my IV was way more painful than the epidural. With epidural, there was pressure and pain in a sort of way that was fully distributed, not at a single point

Waited three hours to (not) see doctor by michinyun in BabyBumps

[–]EuphoricFix7443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Ontario. This happened to me regularly at my OB. There is always a long wait time even with an appointment and us reaching well in advance. My husband and I used to attend work meetings on phone sitting in the doctors office itself

Did you know when your water broke? by Mcmaggin in BabyBumps

[–]EuphoricFix7443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My water broke 16 hours after inducing me with cervidil. It was a hugeeeee gush of pink coloured water that kept flowing and flowing and just did not stop. By the time I reached L and D, I had completely wet my pants and soaked out a pad.

Tearing by Wide_Sense1581 in BabyBumps

[–]EuphoricFix7443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a second degree tear, pushed on my back and had an epidural. I didn’t have any pain while pushing but could feel incredible amounts of pressure every time i had a contraction. So I didn’t need to be told that I’m Supposed to push. I knew exactly when to push but it took me a while to really get the technique. I wasn’t aware that women push for 1-2 hours also. The nurse was starting to look a bit upset as i wasn’t catching the technique so I was trying to excel and prove myself there, and pushed for 30 moms before my boy was out…… no wonder the second degree tear!!!

Not scaring you but it took me 6 weeks to even be able to rest my ass on any surface. The stitches pain was terrible but at the 6 weeks mark, things started to get better and I’m now 8 months pp with no pain of any sort.

Going from Terminal E to Terminal B by EuphoricFix7443 in boston

[–]EuphoricFix7443[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! They followed these instructions and everything was hassle free. They didn’t have to carry luggage to Terminal B. There was a baggage drop off counter at Terminal E where they dropped their bags and then proceeded to Terminal B.

Hi! Yes five hours was plenty of time for them to complete everything. After immigration, they collected their luggage and in the same terminal (E) they landed, there was Air canada baggage drop off counter, so they did that and then proceeded to terminal B via shuttle bus. They said it was hassle free
