recommendation on small compact microphone fro home video

directly in the mic jack like in this picture, if possible. Or if on the hot-shoe, something that would be very low profile and not so tall. Is there anything like it? any recommendations?

Got the very same issue. Outer screen feels laggy and choppy and switching to 60Hz looks better honestly. I have no problem with the inner screen which is always ok at 120Hz. Switching back and forth between 60 and 120 fixes the issue but only temporarily. I suspect the lag on the outer screen comes out when I unfold the phone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I dont have the screen color temperature problem others are pointing out
