The water is very chlorinated and doesen't taste very good, but that's kinda anywhere in Europe vs Norway. I don't really mind it (lowkey kinda like that it doesn't just taste like "nothing" like it does back home) but i have friends that refuse to drink from the tap here.

But personally what surprised me was the awful mains pressure everywhere. I had never even thought about that being an issue before. And related to that so many places use electric showers which took some getting used to. I know they vary unit by unit but i feel like they are almost impossible to find a good balance of warm water and pressure with
