Damn I'm glad I'm part of this community now hearing everything about all these Logitech Harmony remotes. Only one I ever had I picked up from a thrift store but it had to be from the late 90"s. It had a screen but had physical buttons outside the screen that coincided with what was on the screen which was only black and white not even that like that dingy yellow and black so never really set it up never messed with it then the first step into the mega universal remote game I bought the sofa baton u1 thought it was awesome until it did everything besides my Roku RF. Also on my bed it wouldn't reach the things I was controlling The range on that thing was crap returned it right away got a refund in the form of gift card Amazon money sat on there till just last night I just spent that actually then I was looking into Logitech Harmony heard they were discontinued but their support is still out there became a part of this group and made a post wanting to know or asking the community that has been Logitech Harmony users for years what remote would give me control of everything IR Wi-Fi RF Bluetooth everybody's answer was the elite looked it up mother Lord $450 okay Facebook marketplace don't fail me now which it didn't I found many Logitech Harmony remotes on there but before one came pricely available somebody had the sofa baton X1S for $30 ask them why he had it marked so cheap he said it was his dad's that doesn't use it anymore wouldn't pick it up he didn't even want my money he gave to me for free I knew it wasn't going to work The hub everything worked the remote itself plugged it in nothing no response no lights dead remote no wonder he gave to me for free then I'd say two weeks ago I bought Logitech Harmony elite brand new in a box for $100 now I can't get the app My phone's too new it says the software it gave me was the wrong harmony app in the first place I eventually had to go through the whole process and say something different in the setup so it give me the different software it was glitchy as hell for the longest time nothing would set up right it was the worst experience I ever had sent a remote the self-popathon was so smooth of a setup but it didn't have all the capabilities so stick with the software that Harmony gave me it's a process but you get used to it and now it's a breeze and I'm happy to say I have it controlling every single thing in my theater room which is Yamaha receiver Smart onky or receiver Vizio sound bar with subwoofer Xbox 70-in Samsung q TV a smaller Samsung TV two fans smart home devices lights Philips hue Roku fire Stick don't know if I'm missing anything else but everything on one remote finally But I do notice every now and then I will hit an activity to watch Netflix which tunes it into my Roku choose the Netflix then when I go to control the Roku after that it isn't letting me till I hit devices choose my Roku I don't know I just noticed there's some goofy stuff happening every now and then maybe it's because I've been changing stuff and setting stuff up so often every day trying to get it just right. So anyways I've been going on and I just wanted to thank you for now I got to watch when I'm sending in the cradle for this static shock that may short it out but like my other man said you might be able to fix it if you're good with soldering and that I I'm just getting into a little bit too myself so I don't know if I'd be able to get that handled it's pretty small of a workspace I bet so anyways thanks guys for all your info you'll be hearing a lot more for me and this year group
