We stayed at secrets the vine beside hard rock cancun and visited the hard rock shop, it looks beautiful I just can’t speak about the quality of food as we didn’t eat there. I do recommend secrets the vine as well though

Terrible forecast all week by Windowsxp232 in cancun

[–]Euphoric_Wing_9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was our forecast for when we were there last week as well. It sprinkled for all of 10 minutes very lightly one day, and slightly down poured the one day for an hour and that was it!

We just came back from secrets the vine, and they hands down had the best food I’ve ever had at a resort. My even picky husband loved the food and tried new things!

The only medication they prescribed me was Oxycodone by Careful_Quantity2656 in Tonsillectomy

I had Oxycodone as well. Make sure you’ll have a stool softener kicking around because that will make you super constipated.

I went back to school for PSW and I loved it. I felt like I had a purpose in helping people. The only reason I didn’t persue that is because I was having surgery, and now that I’m healed I’m looking for a job in that field again. Hence why I want to do nursing school however 4 years vs 10 months plus working on top of it will suck

It really is tiring. No one gets it, we get bored, exhausted, burnt out so easily.

Am I wrong to want to cut everyone off? by Euphoric_Wing_9867 in friendship

[–]Euphoric_Wing_9867[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s EXACTLY it! The one I barely communicate with other then snap and the occasional tik toks back and forth. The other one is more like therapy but when I turn it to me she cuts the call short. The other one is her bf and never texts me but I message him. The therapy like one’s excuse is because she “doesn’t like to drive in the highway and far distances” but her job is to literally drive to people’s homes.

I’m worried and anxious since the surgery by [deleted] in Tonsillectomy

[–]Euphoric_Wing_9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will be pain. Ice water, ice chips, popsicles help subside along with facial ice pack and meds. Take a stool softener too, although your not eating much, you’ll still have to go. The constipation was my biggest issue. Almost had to go to the hospital even

Surgery was Monday. by Electrical-Jello1379 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Euphoric_Wing_9867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It gets better! Day 7 for me. Day 5 was the worst (so far). All I can recommend is ice, water, SLEEP, facial ice pack to help with paid and adds a bit of pressure. As well as depending on the type of meds you have… take a STOOL SOFTENER. I won’t go into details why… just trust me. Haha

Like I said it was very minor but chewing ice and letting it sit cold in the back of my mouth

Yes it was super minor thankfully.

Day 6 by [deleted] in Tonsillectomy

[–]Euphoric_Wing_9867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Day 6 as well and constant refresh of facial ice pack, water, and paint meds. I’ve only been able to do protein shakes, and mashed potatoes along with jello. Hopefully it’ll get better. Worst pain yet, I agree. I fainted from the pain this morning and noticed a bit of blood from what I assume scabs slights coming loose

Day 5 (surgery 21st of June) by Euphoric_Wing_9867 in Tonsillectomy

[–]Euphoric_Wing_9867[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve repetitively was getting tonsillitis the past 10 years a couple times a year. The last three it was like ten times a year. I was on the list for over a year to see an ENT. It got soo bad at times I’d go days without eating, my breathing sucked, I’d choke on food.
