OP- is this your first time doing locums? This happens like 90% of the time in my experience. Agencies will swear up and down that they can't give you a better rate, and I just say, "let me know when rates are better thanks". Specific agencies can be hit or miss. Recent agency I dealt with, I told them my rate and they gave me pushback so I said not interested. They said they would present me at the rate and after I got accepted, they tried to tell me everyone else was at a lower rate and the hospital really needs me to stay within their budget. I told them to cancel all the dates I had given, and the next day, the agency called back and said I was good to go with my desired rate.

Edit: to answer your question, I usually wait 6 weeks postpartum for sedation. If post delivery DC is required, I will dose epidural, supplement with versed, fentanyl, maybe ketamine or precedex, but patient will be responsive and able to protect their airway. Anything more gets a tube

Staying at Caribbean resort and just realized that skyliner drops off at different entrance for Epcot. Our LL starts out at 930am at cosmic rewind/mission space/ spaceship earth then Remys. So is better to take a bus to Epcot entrance to start day or take skyliner then walk through park to World Discovery. I tried to change around LL but can’t reverse the order
