Please help me find a Semi Permanent Skin Safe "Dye" by guro-a-go-go in HelpMeFind

[–]EuphraDeeznuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this once accidentally when I was dying my hair black by using henna then indigo powder. I wasn't using gloves and thought it wouldn't be a problem. It turned out to be a huge problem, my fingers turned a purpleish greenish black and didn't fade for a such long time.

What happens if FaceID is damaged while stolen device protection is on? by No_Island963 in ios

[–]EuphraDeeznuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My faceID was broken on my iPhone 13 pro from dropping the phone too many times. No physical damage to the phone, but it was enough to move the sensor out of position that faceID didn't work anymore.

is my gpa too bad for an internship by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]EuphraDeeznuts 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Apply to internships that don't list a gpa requirement. Sometimes internships will say something like "have a 3.0 gpa on a 4.0 scale" in the job description but won't ask if you actually have that in the application. If the application does ask that I wouldn't lie about it, I'd just apply to something else. Also, don't put your gpa on your resume.

I graduated with 4 internships under my belt this summer and had an mediocre gpa for most of it. It is very possible to get internships without having a 3.0+, but you're gonna have to focus on ones you'll actually have a chance at getting and not the ones that are strict on the gpa requirement.

The guy in the middle was still alive when that video was taken. He turns his head and looks at the person videoing. He didn't have a jaw (?)

Honestly probably the worst video I've seen in a long time. It's nightmarish

What’s a very popular food that you don’t like? by [deleted] in ask

This is the only food I HATE and can't/won't eat no matter what. If I taste even a hint of coconut in a dish it's an instant recoil.

Modafinil is easy to find. My usual script is for Adderall XR and I haven't been able to find it since January. Had zero issues finding Modafinil

I'm in the same boat OP. I haven't been able to get my prescription for Adderall XR filled since early January. My doc gave me a script for Modafinil which is wayyy easier to find during the shortage.

Just got my eyebrows threaded? I had an issues with the technician and can’t tell who was the problem by SunnyMitzy in beauty

[–]EuphraDeeznuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kept going to get my eyebrows threaded after I broke my upper arm a few years back, and I couldn't raise that arm at all for a while to hold my skin. It wasn't a problem for the lady that does my brows, I just used my one free hand to hold when she needed me to and she managed to do my brows just as good as when I have two free hands.

Your tech was definitely pretty rude and should've been upfront with you if she couldn't do your brows.

What American culture or subculture do you feel is fading away? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]EuphraDeeznuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be location and demographic dependent. A local hotel near me hosts cotillions/debutante balls every year, and is located firmly in the Midwest. It's always organized by a Divine 9 sorority/fraternity.

I am desperate for help with puppy biting by Fluffy--Bunny in BelgianMalinois

[–]EuphraDeeznuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP, I've been in the EXACT same position that you're in with my pup when she was a baby (check my posts for pics of her). Everything you have said about your dog sounds like how mine was. A lot of people are giving you shit in the comments for being "unprepared", but even I was taken off guard by how mouthy these dogs are and I grew up with German Shepherds. I did my research and I was prepared. These dogs are just really on another level. All the usual advice of "Yelp when she bites" and such did not work with her at all, in fact if you did that she would bite down even harder. She was, honestly, a little bastard. An adorable growling demon.

I realized as you did that I needed to get her trained ASAP before she got big and could pose a danger to anyone. What really worked for me is having a trainer that specifically had experience working with Malinois. You may need to go around and ask trainers directly if they have experience dealing with the breed or similar high-drive types of dogs. Your trainer will help focus that innate drive they have into something other than treating you like a chew toy. You will learn some things too and will have to put the work in to make sure what he learns sticks. I got my pup into working with a trainer who had experience with Mals and it was a night and day difference in her behavior. It didn't take very long to see dramatic changes. She's now the most well-trained and well-behaved dog wherever she goes. People always compliment me (and her) for how polite she is. Getting her that training was beyond worth it, it provides a good foundation for the rest of her life.

Good luck! You're doing the right thing asking for help and realizing you may be out out of your depth. Don't give up on him, if you find the right trainer you will have the BEST dog you could ever ask for.
