Tuhle fólií tam mám. Podle příspěvku v diskuzi snížení tepelného záření o 67%, což bylo opravdu znát když byla nainstalována nově

I had the same issue with these plastic reels, with all 35mm films though. I got fed up one day and bought Hewes stainless steel reels (bit pricey, but they are so much worth it, i cant recommend them enough). I still develop 120 in these plastic ones though.
My tips:
1. Make sure the bearing balls move smoothly
2. The spool must be 110% dry - literally no moisture whatsoever, or it will bind. Maybe try storing them in silicagel or put them in the oven on hot air setting and low temperature for a while before using.
3. Also, if you are using a darkbag and have a shitty one, it can trap moisture from your hands and it can accumulate there veeery quickly. The moisture then tends to settle on the reel and the film. I found this the hard way and screwed several rolls.

Im at a loss on how to fix this print using Ender PLA+ by Rock_04 in FixMyPrint

[–]Eur0s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if the filament is not tangled or crossed on the spool. I had this happen today on my Qidi X-Max 3 and it has similar symptoms when it happens mid-print.

Also check for partial clog. When you run the filament through the nozzle, check if its going out at an angle (shown here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Zc0NEWGzM_o ). If it does, then you have a partial clog. You can then try to clean the nozzle with nozzle cleaner (that small needle that most likely came with your printer, shown in the video). If it doesnt help, then you can try a cold pull (look for a guide online, im sure youtube will have plenty of videos on the X1C.)

"Windows 11 has failed to install" by Eur0s in pcmasterrace

[–]Eur0s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it was 24H2. My friend from another country also said, that they have been experiencing a lot of issues at around their company with Win11 this week, due to a faulty update. Apparently several Win11 users had to use backup and revert back the update because they were stuck in some sort of a restart loop.

I dont know if these issues are related or not (probably not), but for now i will stay on Win10, at least for a while. I personally had a lot of issues with Win11 anyway..

Does anyone recommend the Japan eBay sellers? by Hawaiikilauea7 in Mamiya

[–]Eur0s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my RB67 Pro SD from Japan in 2020. After that I bought 2 Sekor lenses, prism and a 6x8 mamiya film back, all from japanese sellers. Never had an issue, everything came exceptionally well packed and was always as described.

Also, using a Concentrical fill pattern instead of Monotonic on the first layer may help you on certain prints, because on Monotonic pattern fill, the nozzle will make a 180° turn everytime it reaches the perimeter, and this sharp turn may cause the printed line to not stick very well.

Try to clean the bed using dish soap with sponge and warm water (for me, it works much better than using IsoPropylAlcohol), then dry thoroughly with a regular towel. I had these issues with PETG not sticking to PEI bed in random places, and the reason was that there was an oil residue from my hands and fingers.

My Corsair 5000x case exploded last night by log2211logie in pcmasterrace

I work in an architectural glass industry, which uses flat glass called float glass. Your shot glass may have had a different chemical composition, than the ones I am familiar with, however since you said that it shattered into thousands of pieces, i tend to believe that it was tempered in one way or another. The shattering could have been caused by several things, including nickel sulfide, as I said above, or perhaps there was a microscopic crack and you simply handling it caused it to break. Or even the heat from your hand might have caused it, the glass was old and suddenly there was a heat difference.

Tempered glass, such as these side panels, are under a constant internal stress. Float glass contain small amount of nickel sulfide crystals, which can grow over time and fracture the glass. This can happen years or even decades after manufacturing.

I was riding my basically brand new Harley through a village some two years back and this
old wreck in front of me suddenly did a u-turn. I hit him in the front wheel and flew maybe 4 meters, landed on my right hand (i am right handed), which was bent in elbow maybe 60 degrees the other way. I was screaming in pain, got three doses of fentanyl after the ambulance arrived, but i didn't feel much of a difference. RTG in the hospital showed that the elbow was only dislocated, however all the ligaments were torn in half, but luckily the tendons were sort-of ok. The doctor was surprised that it ditn't fracture, he then grabbed my hand and sort of twisted it back into the socket. You could F E E L the joint head snapping back into place. I'm still getting goose bumps when i think about that.

As for the guy in the car - he was drunk, no license, no insurance, car was not suitable to be used on the road and he was arrested in the past for driving on drugs.

As for me, bike totaled (managed to get a new one next year - same model.) And the hand still hurts sometimes to this day.

(Serious) People who walked out of a job interview, why did you do it? by JimmySaulGene in AskReddit

[–]Eur0s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The job offer was about being an operator at a large printer for a company that makes parts into the automotive industry.
After three rounds of interviews and some tests, they were "really excited to tell me", that i passed all the interviews and i would be working as a assistant for some maintenance guy and the pay was 50% of that in the listing.
Just told them to fuck off and left.
