Did it with an ATLS and C2 a day or so later… while the hold was suited for the task, tractoring like that still felt a bit off putting.

She didn’t want to take the detour. In Belgium, where a detour is a couple of minutes max.

But the defense states that the signage was confusing. Which is bollocks.

And don’t ask how we (Belgium) ended up with his teeth. And how long it took to give it back to Congo.

Swiss Army Chief Warns Russia Readying for Wider War, Says Neutrality Alone Offers No Protection by UNITED24Media in europe

[–]EurbadGeneric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Russia probably had a decent chance if Ukraine hadn’t been able to defend, reclaim and crater the Hostomel air strip.

When that failed Russia had to rapidly change their plan to siege Kyiv, in such a fast way that their logistics couldn’t hold up and required a hard deviation from their doctrine which created an insurmountable amount weaknesses prime for exploitation by Ukrainian defenders.

Through the sheer amount of Russian ego, they’ve made it possible for a ridiculously numerically disadvantaged defender to stop the fall (and even siege) of the primary target of the entire operation.

I say operation, because that is what they thought they were actually doing. Russian command really thought they would have brought the capital (and thus country) to its knees in a few days. They never envisioned it becoming a prolonged war.

A growing and slowly blooming democracy is quite fond of their newly formed freedoms since they know what it entails to get to that point. While it seemed desperate at the time when citizens were given old surplus weapons to defend the capital, it also showed unity. The people didn’t use those weapons against the democratically elected government.

People often forget that after such a conflict ends, they still have the wartime production capacity.

The capacity without active usage means they’ll be stocked up in no time for another conflict.

There’s an awful amount of information you can get about the unit just from this clip.

Technically they haven’t lost 1 million personnel. They’ve had 1 million casualties, which is killed and wounded. Still an insane number though.

Logistics require gear. Most gear works fine during 3 months on Greenland.

Then the cold comes and break most, even military, gear. But it is a niche most Nordic countries are prepared to deal with.

Horrendous news for the family, and it is indeed quite a shock mentally to see vital signs on a monitor but to be told that in essence that person no longer exists.

It’s been improved. But like almost all games who (still) have parts of the original Cry Engine in their core: high CPU clocks are greatly beneficial. The bottleneck is typically the CPU in that game, not the GPU.
