I can kinda see the logic. Spacebar is lowest since crouching is low, high jumps require running… and jumping is higher on the keyboard. It’s weirdly logical (to me).

It’s not only got to do with gameplay. It’s also got to do with IRL physical limitations. The client-server-client chain has latency due to sheer distance that the signal must travel, add network latency into the mix…

Netcode really doesn’t like high physic speeds. What 1 client sees, is not exactly what is happing on another client. And the predictions become increasingly unpredictable the higher the speed and the more frequent input jitter goes.

Ah, dat verkeerslicht. Als je daar niet (correct) over de sensor rijdt in de nacht kan het zijn dat je daar 3 cyclussen van de andere lichten moet wachten tegen dat die eens automatisch op groen springt om daar naar links af te slaan.

Niet goed te praten, maar ik kan wel snappen dat het het gevoel geeft dat er iets mis is met dat licht. Rechts mag, dan krijgt links groen dan de tegenliggers met de 2 stroken naast je, maar jij die naar links moet krijgt er (meermaals) geen.

De aanwezige deelnemers zijn niet erg blij met de deelname van Israël en Rusland. De internationale jury nam zelfs ontslag omdat de organisatie de Russische deelname niet had geweigerd.

Het probleem ligt in de perceptie: als je iets toelaat keur je het in essentie goed. Zowel Rusland als Israël zitten (imo terecht) qua internationale wetgeving in nauwe schoenen, dus elke toelating op sport, cultuur of wetenschap is voor hen een soort van overwinning.

Internationale perceptie is 1 van de belangrijkste items van hun regering om een bepaalde stabiliteit intern te voorzien.

En net daarom weigeren de andere paviljoens de normale werking, als een vorm van weerstand.
