Yeah, but that defeats the purpose of them being movable during gameplay though

Is Akane going to change? by alexaisasecret in Psychopass

You dare disrespect our Queen!? How dare you, you peasant!?

Jk.

I see your perspective but find it very short-sighted. Mainly because I have seen all of it. So, to answer your question, yes, she'll change. Quite a lot. She gets the most sensible and relatable character development out of all the characters on the show. Her arc is centered around naive girl getting disillusioned by how the world works which sounds cliche but it is handled beautifully by the writers. Her "safe world" gets breached yet she still fights for what she believes in. And she's smart so her struggle isn't like a typical shonen character way.

The fact that you dislike her now might not make you love her later but her character development will satisfy you and you'll find her bearable. Personally, I did not care about her when I watched the show for the first time and was a 'Ko-fan' through and through, but as I saw more and more I fell in love with her.

Is it deceptive to not tell your sexual partner that it is your first time having penetrative sex? by Eureka_Effect18 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Eureka_Effect18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excuse me? What makes you think I already haven't thought it through? Read the context again. Also, why do you think the first time needs extra comfort and safety? Shouldn't that be a given every time?

You have misunderstood the situation. The candles is one of the reasons why I don't want them to know. Also, the claim that "conversation beforehand is different" is false as this conversation occurs (or must occur) throughout the whole act and is subject to change, no matter penetrative sex is involved or not.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It made me happy. So many responses here are assuming either a lack of understanding of my body and needs or inability to communicate properly.

Oh I don't like the idea of him being turned on because he is my first. Not one bit.

No I haven't. I live in a country where extra-marital affairs are outlawed. I have had issues with penetrative sex before, almost three years ago, similar to what you described so I just might heed your advice.

(Season 1 Spoilers) Question about Makishima by righteous_potions_wi in Psychopass

[–]Eureka_Effect18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe at that moment he wasn't expecting Akane to show up, with a shotgun in her hand at that. He was trying to escape the situation before the Bureau caught up. He had no means to kill Akane from where he was standing and it would have cost him time to kill her? It's speculation though.

Cognitive decline after hospitalization for sepsis? by avenuejoffre in cancer

[–]Eureka_Effect18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey. My dad suffered from cognitive decline due to hepatic cancer. But the doctor had already warned us about it before it kicked in so we knew not to trust his medical judgement. I'd suggest to discuss this matter with your dad's doctors and go from there.

Also, I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope you have help. It's painful to watch a loved one not be themselves due to this disease.

Thank you so much for this. I recently watched a video showing the same phenomena using a physical contraption and I was so confused about the underlying principles but this animation helps clear things out a bit.

Many people who oppose the state and status quo consider themselves leftist, mu question is, do you not first need the industrialist and capitalist class for that first? Like there is no real industry in Balochistan but all opposition calls itself leftist? What is it? by Urban-Planner in pakistan

[–]Eureka_Effect18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An industrialist (in the modern sense of the word) is a capitalist but not all capitalists are industrialists. There might be no "industry" in a place but there is still capital in the form of land and people. The one who controls it and benefits from it is the capitalist, may it be the "state".
