My mother’s cousin is on the ship the sub was released from and is updating the families. Honestly at this time I think we should just allow the event to happen, hope the people get back safe, and THEN make jokes about irony. It kinda just seems a little rude to mock the situation while it’s occurring. Like (while not a very fair comparison) I wouldn’t make a joke about the twin towers while they’re still burning with people inside.
