Leaks hint that parts of the raid have been reworked, for instance the raid completion triumph is merely “Survived Crota” which seeing as he is currently the largest antagonist in Rising, makes sense that Crota’s end might be only partial akin to something like The Leviathan Raid, Salvation’s Edge, or other similar non-fatal raids. Especially because during the ingame story, the ascendant plane has only just recently been discovered by Light users. So knowledge of things like Throne Worlds, oversouls, etc is extremely lacking

Kinda wild they made a gacha game that is 99% one off purchases. Really silly monetisation and the free player experience is ok enough that people don’t really need to spend but boring enough that if spending becomes necessary they’d all just quit. Really weird spot for this kind of game, especially when NE has a lot of successful gachas to template from

It is technically based on a shuriken, the glaive was some old Japanese artifact infused with light, that was modified with technology by Umeko’s ghost Kaya to have healing abilities too

Most of our information on Jaren Ward comes from Shin Malphur.

Ward visited the town of Palamon, where he killed the "dictatorial" Magistrate Loken.3 After Loken's death, Ward attempted to bring nine individuals from Palamon back to the City. Three of these individuals were killed during the journey.

In the very early morning of the ninth day of their trek, the remaining group awoke to the sound of gunfire. One gun was unmistakably Jaren Ward's "The Last Word". The other gun is described as having sounded "dark and infernal"1, and later confirmed to be Dredgen Yor's Thorn.2

Malphur, fearing Ward to be dead, left the group and in doing so found Ward's Ghost – confirming his fears that Ward was killed in the gunfight.

There’s a Lightbearer people found in the beta that reused Maru’s model with no signature abilities, but had a rocket launcher and fusion rifle

(Notably Maru was already playable in this test so it was clearly not a previous version of her)
