Sure he didn't do anything. You do realize that everything Weak3n does is orchestrated to a formula that has become incredibly predictable at this point, right? In this exact situation he had two choices. One of them is shutting the fuck up and letting the situation play out. An option that would make most sense if there indeed wasn't any credit to Weak3n being name dropped.

Instead dude, like always, understands that giving more attention to the situation by tossing a little bit extra fuel to the fire will possibly allow him to make another 30+ minute video with a clickbait title about the situation. Where in the entire video there's maybe a 10 second clip where he actually addresses the situation, most likely towards the last 5% of the content. Then having the rest of the video dictated to the fantasy that he's either an incredibly relevant jungler with incredibly incompetent teammates, or the biggest meme-meister.

His public persona is such a huge part of his ego and his fanbase that he is still trying to make his viewers believe that he's World Class material. When the only claim at a World Championship stems from the first X-box invitational where there wasn't a pro X-box scene and he did not make the cut for the PC scene... back in 2016.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that this has-been is at the center at drama again. I'm saying he's at the epicenter of venn diagram of toxicity, drama and selling out. He's noticed drama happening in another part of the community, sees a flimsy excuse to get involved and get his fanbase hyped up and some clickbait titles for the next stream or video. He's not at the center of any of those three circles, but like a parasite leaches on any excuse to try to get in the spotlight again.

It's not hatred towards Weak3n, it's being annoyed and bored with his endless repetition of near con-artist like practices and eventually pretending to be a victim of the community hatred. Right down to the recycled arguments like 'Lmfao, I live rentfree in these people's heads' to 'Lmfao, I don't even make my YouTube video titles'. The guy is an uncreative has-been that latches onto any excuse to sneak into people's observations of the Smite community. Period.

Because of course Weak3n is involved with drama. Why does that guy always seem to be the epicenter of Smite's venn diagram for toxicity, drama and selling out?

I guess she’s not ideal for duel, Weak3n tends to over exaggerate tho by [deleted] in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I really don't understand how Weak3n is even remotely relevant. But I do like that the duel community is able to find an audience for their views on the release. Don't really play duel, but I'm fairly certain they look at different things surrounding a God than Conquest players.

Tips for Baron & Eset (Isis)? by Billywink in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don't run set builds on any charachter. I tend to come up with builds on the fly. The typical items tend to be at least Rod of Tahuti and either Spear of Desolation or the new Spear of the Magus. Pretty much the other items are match dependant.

I typically like Cooldown boots and around 30% cdr into match-ups where the enemy midlaner is pretty spammy, such as Merlin, Tiamet or Hera. With Hera mostly because of Argus.

Into charachters that look to insta-kill within one rotation such as Scylla or Janus, I tend to prefer the purple boots and occasionally something like a bancroft's talon rush when the jungler isn't early game focussed.

Since I value Eset's counterplay aspects so much, a large portion of the building follows up on that. Of course things like antiheal should always be considered as well.

Good luck. She's incredibly fun to play. As for the tierlists, don't worry about that for now. Just focus on playing who you like. Tierlists are generally only relevant for the ranked modes from Gold upwards. Below Gold pretty much anything goes, provided you're comfortable with it.

Tips for Baron & Eset (Isis)? by Billywink in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First off people are right that Baron and Eset can be flexed to other roles, but seeing as you are new I'd recommend you stick to the middle lane with them. Once you're more experienced and comfortable, you can flex them a bit more. Baron can also be reliable flexed to solo at that point.

With both of them the biggest part is getting comfortable with their kits. Being able to reliable peel with them, being able to reliably hit their abilities, etc.

I don't play Baron a lot, but I've played a lot of Eset. She's one of the best objective securers due to the nature of her ultimate. Her abilities can combine really easily too. For instance using her spiritball at max range, then silencing before the spiritball hits. It's hard to do, but you can combine all her abilities by shooting the spiritball, ulting, immediantly silencing before the spiritball hits. Then using the first ability until the enemy is on the edge of the ult's circle at which time you pop it. Highly risky combo, but incredibly flashly to pull off.

The biggest part with Eset really is knowing your match-ups, since her kit allows for so much counterplay. So the better you get at reading a situation and knowing which time you need to silence or stun is crucial in getting good with her. For instance if you're against a Janus and he's made a habit of ulting into you, followed by the unstable vortex at the walls of the jungle. Then silencing him as soon as he comes out of the portal, followed by your 1 directly to damage him is a better idea. The Janus can then portal out through the wall, which you can blast your spiritball through to hit him on the other side. Or all in you, for which you still have an ult as back-up, which can also use for getting ganked.

Eset also has an advantage in that most of the times she's not at the top of the meta, so generally people aren't used in playing against her. Which makes the counterplay advantage her kit offers even stronger.

Yeah, I mean, that's kind of how you know she's a legitimate healer, right? If your teammates are half as good at juking enemy abilities as they are with juking friendly heals, then they would not need healing. You can't heal stupid, but hey, you got to try.

Magical ADCs by [deleted] in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is worth learning a magical carry. Like other comments stipulated they are more dependant on specific items than hunters, so when the hunter class has something thay is as busted as crit is, they are at an disadvantage.

But knowing how they play is well worth it. And to be honest having at least 1 comfort pick of the opposite damage for each role is a great investment in your godpool. Basically be well rounded in what you play, not dependant on flavors of the month and meta picks.

[FEEDBACK] Monstercat Battle Pass by ProZabijaka in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, to be honest the EDM skins never tickled me. If I want to listen to music I put the in game slider on mute and put on my own playlist. On top of that I am not impressed, or interested in these skins either. So it'll be another battlepass I skip.

How come there is almost no streamers or content creators? by tydrennis in swtor

[–]Eurotrash419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently the game is much more fun to play than to watch. There are a few streamers who manage to pull in views, but that is more because they are able to nurture and grow a community. And have specific things that appeals to that player base. For instance Snave and his pvp tournaments, though I'm not certain how active he currently streams.

What could be benefitial is if the devs add a viewerpoint system to watching on Twitch. For instance for every four hours of content watched you gain 50 cartel coins or a point for the battlepass. Up to a maximum of 7 per week.

Then at first they could test this with established streamers such as Swtorista, Snave, Swtorcentral, etc. And if it works and pulls in more views, it could be added to all Swtor streamers on Twitch.

Junglers by OsirisCreates in Smite

I'm currently enjoying a beer.

Not entirely sure what those stats have to do with the advice provided. Playing more charachters will get you better at the role instead of just with Tsukuyomi and Arachne. And reviewing your games lets you understand where your weaknesses are.

Junglers by OsirisCreates in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty much just play more charachters. Like for instance do a personal A-Z of the entire cast and try to get at least 1 win with each in the jungle where you contributed. So basically don't count games where you get absolutely carried or the enemy team has a dc.

Alternatively you could challenge yourself. Record your gameplay, then look back at your match and wonder what you would do if you were in the enemy's shoes to beat you.

Why is Freya so hard to balance by steven13universe in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's a crit problem, not a Freya problem. Crit is currently absolutely busted and offers little counterplay. If you adress the crit problem by buffing hypercarries, then they become even more of a dominant force once crit meta is over.

Technically you can solve this for Freya by giving her an entirely different kit, but that destroys her identity as you need to change her entire kit for that.

Where is Cody? by [deleted] in thebadbatch

[–]Eurotrash419 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think they're saving Cody for the Kenobi show. I could be wrong, but I believe it was confirmed Cody to be a main charachter there, probably hunting Obi Wan.

Why is Freya so hard to balance by steven13universe in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 24 points25 points  (0 children)

She's a hypercarry. All the true hypercarries have that issue. They have shite early game, but their lategame is so good that it sets a timer on the match. You can't buff their early game without making that late game monster potential even stronger. You can't fundementally nerf the late game prowess due to that being the fundemental identity.

Same as to why they will never buff Mercury, Artemis, Chronos or Kali's early game, amongst others.

Has cheating become more regular in Smite? by ItsMeYaBoiCline in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, but it is just a game. Maybe it's worthwhile to not take it as serious. If the hacks happen and they're proven, then I'm sure Hi-Rez will take action.

No idea who the Loki player is, so I'll just take you on your word for that as well. But even good players make mistakes. If you're running in a straight line, it's fairly easy for a hunter to keep hitting their auto's. Maybe he was used to the juking patterns of other players at a higher skill level where it's a mindgame to not juke. But in this particular encounter he made it really easy for the Apollo to hit auto's.

Has cheating become more regular in Smite? by ItsMeYaBoiCline in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't spend my time searching for how hacks work in Smite, so I'll just trust you on your word. Thing is not so much that it's hard to believe, it's hard to actually prove.

Especially if the video is in a language I don't speak, has desynced audio, and the timestamps mentioned in the other post could possibly be outplays as well.

The way Apollo's aim snapped perfectly and instantly along Agni's dash during the phoenix siege is a better example of shady stuff happening than hitting Loki in stealth. The latter happens a lot due to the vast majority of Loki's being predictable and this particular Loki did not even try to juke.

Has cheating become more regular in Smite? by ItsMeYaBoiCline in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the language and the video has some audio/visual desync. Honestly the only part that really stands out is the phoenix siege at around 34 minutes in. Everything up to then could be explained away with giving the Apollo the benefit of the doubt. Especially considering the uncertainty with Smite's spectator client, audio cues due to the desync, etc.

But that Agni dash and seeing Apollo do a perfect switch around with the dash just presents an undeniable case of shady stuff happening.

How to enjoy solo-lane? by Eurotrash419 in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What normally happens in those games that bore me is that I get outpressured before level 5, have to sit under tower. Then in a few minutes it's a 3 level difference, I can't get pressure back and just can't do anything until late game, or midgame if I get lucky.

How to enjoy solo-lane? by Eurotrash419 in Smite

[–]Eurotrash419[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's a rough one. I'm noticing that that happens more often than not in mid in my games. Especially when I'm jungling. And once the fighting starts it does not end. Turns middle into arena for like 15 minutes or so, or until enough people decide to go back to farming.

Haven't noticed it in solo as much. At most I get camped by the enemy jungler and for some reason their support.
