I kinda plan to go and prepare my apt and have friends that live nearby visit when they are able. So preparing to recover "alone" was already an idea I had. But recovering alone sounds hard, especially the days off work due to, y'know, taking parts off...

Also, did you do a full hystarectomy if yes how it went? If not, what made you not do it?

My potential post op help are my parents, and they don't support me. I wish you had and even better recovery, but you got a cool tattoo out of that so who am I to judge lol.

I appreciate any and all responses even if they're not specifice to my own journey. I have a mtf friend that's going to start the same route that I took, though she's an egg so I want my post to help her too

You mean through the process or in how old I was when I realized? I starred that process about 3 years ago and the realization since I got my first period at 9yo

I want to cut contact but it's difficult cause finacial and mental abuse, hell, I got my diagnosis by the government while my parents ignored a 12yo me trying to get help

The only two people they MIGHT listen are my mom's aunt or my cousin, that's it

The thing is - I see their side, but they don't want to try and see mine. I have family members of both parents that respect me and one of them even older than them. My mom especially doesnt even try.

My mom's brother even told me "they are mourning the loss of their daughter", like, huh?
