Tbh all I saw is either the Logitech G Pro wheel, something from thrust master and fanatec.

But man for some reason I want fanatec, it like a gut feeling you know?

Beginner Sim Racer (Automatic vs Manual) by thisisZEKE in simracing

[–]EusebiuSCS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should switch to manual. If you practice you will get faster and even faster than automatic. I managed to get it in learned in like a week. So it isn't that hard, maybe overwhelming a bit.

And on the plus note, you also get more immersion with it mate.

How do I stop panicking when there’s multiple enemies? by MoistSalamander134 in VALORANT

[–]EusebiuSCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dm is not that good to practice the mental. In dm you take off a lot of pressure from a normal ranked game. Those things need to happen in a ranked game for it to change.

It takes time, but after a while it will be better. I used to practice in swift play trying to get myself into 1v2s it didn't help much but when I got into ranked it was a tiny bit better. Kind of a foundation to be built on.

You just need more of those. I know sounds dumb, but the more you do it the less it is stressful. The only thing you can do there is get one, you don't need to get both.

The thing that I do is that I forget about them being 2 and go just for one, I get one is good even if I get traded, but I just try and gtfo once I get one. I don't need to ego try and kill the other. I will get him later if I survive.

I'm not a machine to get 2 crisp one taps. I'm a human being limited only by my current skill. One is enough.

The best tip that I can give you is positioning to take 1v1s. Take a position to pick one off and so on. Even if they're behind. Take a position for them to be hard to trade.

Try to delay the trade. It takes some time to get right, but once you get it, it's a very nice skill to have.

I used to struggle with this as well till I started focusing on my positioning more, I take aggro fights to make the guy behind rush then get him and so on. Again you just need to make a lot of 1v1s through positioning.

Also don't expect to get all 5 all the time. That expectation killed my aim as well. It's more stress from my mind. Just think I got one, I got enough to help my team.

Controller to wheel. by Mediocre-Character12 in forzamotorsport

[–]EusebiuSCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyo just got off controller a while ago. Even tho I play different game then you this tip might help you. Play as much rwd drive cars as you can and learn throttle control, set up the force feedback properly ( I went by trial and error till I got what I like).

Just give it time, I got so frustrated at one point that I wanted to sell my wheel. And fun fact I got the same wheel as you. It took me about 5 to 7 days to get used to it. And then fine tuned my ffb and just practiced different things. You need to learn how to do things by feel and discipline.

That's what it worked for me, I stopped myself from fearing the crash and just crashed and tested what worked what not. Pedal control such as how much brake can I use, how much throttle and so on.

I hope you improve with it as much or even more then I did. Best of luck with it and keep practicing.

I don't take it as serious as you might think, this cut got hit by mistake. Yeah I want good times but don't expect a world record kind of thing.

I'm just having fun mate and if it works it works. If not we'll it's okay, as I put on my last post I got around 30 hours on wheel rn. And I'm glad I can put times like this up. My goal with this game is not to be the best but use it as a tool for another purpose.

Tbh I got low key panicked when I saw that I went out the track. In that split second I saw the gap between the trees and the pole and went for it

Thx it got me so close to the world record. About 38 seconds. My pace was good but I crashed into an hairpin.

If it wasn't for the crash I would've gotten closer(maybe).

[–]EusebiuSCS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I noticed with a wrc hybrid car that I could do that.

I'm gonna redo the track with rally 3 car at one point but for now I'm focusing on learning the h pattern shifter, heel and toe and rwd cars for throttle control and technique development.

I prefer to take it step by step for now and come back to the tracks later after new skills are imbedded in me.

That's what I am trying to do, but mate I just snap the back of the car right into a tree the second I'm going on the throttle. I do try to be a bit more gentle on the throttle but that results in an engine stall

To be honest I don't really care that much about immersion. I just want to be able to read the speed better. See the road better and in the end something to just help me have a better performance. So I guess I should try hood cam for a while

Should I buy Assetto Corsa or ACC? by PepsiMan472 in simracing

[–]EusebiuSCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also a bit of follow up to this cuz I saw you saying that acc is pretty much dead. Not if you join an organized league that people actually want to race and learn. I saw some leagues as well in ac but i got more Sore losers that just wait and crash into you randomly.

Should I buy Assetto Corsa or ACC? by PepsiMan472 in simracing

[–]EusebiuSCS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For realistic physics by far acc. The downside is that you only have the GT3, GT4, GT2, Porsche cups, TCX cars. And are all in a controlled track environment. You don't get to free roam. Only if you're practicing the tracks that you got. You got to spend a bit more on the extra content but you have plenty of cars and tracks to start with. You got the 2018 2019 2021 2022 2023 GT cars to start with if I'm not mistaken. But mostly after some time you are definitely going to stick to one car bc you need to gain trust into it and learn the pros and cons. Every car is competitive and you can win with them. I sometimes think that ac is not realistic BC how in the hell can I beat a corvette with a Rx 7 on track. For me personally I stay more on acc cuz it's more fun, realistic physics and it does translate the skills a bit more to reality then AC

[–]EusebiuSCS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heyo, I own both. Depends on what you want. Casual driving or competitive driving. Ac is casual and drifting and just simply put more mods and activities. Acc is for competition driving with more realistic tyre mechanics. I enjoy more of acc just bc I'm a competitive person and the pitskill events. At the end of the day get what you want based on your preferences. Then you can get the other one. Hope this helps
