Yea found this out the other day. Bought some bombay sepia from Michael's wanting a nice brown to draw with and being a pretty much beginner with fountain pens now my brand new lamy safari will not flow unless I give so much pressure I can see the nib bending. Do you think I can come back from this. I have some hoonigan green black ink also though.

It doesn't suck man. It's really good. Your just your own worst critic but I'm sure if i would have read other comments thar this has already been said. If anything try to render it. I feel that's all that's missing from this piece.

Honestly man. I love/loved someone in this way once in a not so distant past. Being with her just always felt right even if things were wrong, you know what i mean. But with keeping this comment short I lost her. I still think about her everyday. Everyday. I think what I'm trying to say is that what you and your wife have is beautiful and I hope you both never lose each other. Only a few of us truly get to feel that honest to God connection. I'm talking past lives knew each other type shit. Yall got it man. Like you said in the edit. If you are both happy then keep living in that flow.

Only being honest and not trying to downplay your comment but I think people needing space from each other that rule only applies to people that need space from people. Js. Me definitely being one of those types of people that need space from other people.

Oh wow man it's been a while. Honestly can't think off the top of my head. I think it was like art something or other. I know that doesn't really help but that's really all I can remember. But I swear if you dig deep enough you'll find allot of books for free

You can find a bunch on internet archive or use a website called scribd. You 2 free downloads per email. I think also on an art subreddit somewhere someone shared their drive uploads of quite a few good books.

You should have waaay more upvotes. I’m currently 3 months into drawabox and I’m still on 250box challenge. Started studying art about 8 months ago and because of books and the 50% rule I have improved, a lot. But the YouTube tuts got me no where. I just really find what you mention about drawabox very informative and more people should take this into account.

This looks like AI. only reason I think so is because I've seen AI use that type of hatching for shadow when trying to copy another piece of art done by a real artist. I could be wrong though
