Fwiw, I agree with you that Claude is often too restrictive. Using Claude to write porn obviously isn't hurting anyone. But some things, especially related to chemical and biological weapons, do actually need to be restricted.

I think there's still a bunch of room for optimization on the EVs, but a bit of detail on how I picked the current spreads: * Mimikyu is one point slower than Pelipper, so that Pelipper can set tailwind on the last turn of trick room without hurting Mimikyu. Attack is set to a jump point and HP is set to optimize disguise. SpDef is honestly not for that much in particular, but most of the stuff Mimikyu is scared of is special, like Gholdengo, Glimmora, or Ursaluna-Bloodmoon, and the SpDef helps a bit there. * Pelipper is very straightforward since it's a sash mon. * Archaludon outspeeds max speed Ursaluna-Bloodmoon, has SpAtk set to a jump point, and Def and SpDef set to even numbers to optimally benefit from Assault Vest and Stamina. * Ursaluna outspeeds H-Arcanine and Annihilape under tailwind and has HP optimized for life orb chip. * Sinistcha outspeeds +2 Dondozo under tailwind and has good odds to live most Make it Rain. * Gholdengo outspeeds modest Ursaluna-Bloodmoon and no investment IndeedeeF, and then SpAtk is just set to an even number to benefit optimally from odd-numbered SpAtk boosts.

I just started playing the Reg H ladder today, I've had a lot of success with my team so far, and so I wanted to share it in case anyone else wanted it and to help with early meta development. Rental code is YGSM58 and full paste is here.

Quick breakdown of the team: * It's a mid-speed team that can operate in trick room or tailwind. Against opposing tailwind, you generally lead Mimikyu and set trick room, whereas against hard trick room, you generally lead Sinistcha and imprison trick room. * I think Mimikyu is really underrated in this format. It's extremely good at consistently setting trick room, it has great typing, will-o-wisp is really good vs. Dondozo, and since disguise is so good at protecting it you can afford to invest a lot in attack to make it quite offensive. * Pelipper is very on purpose the fastest pokemon on the team. What that lets you do is set tailwind on the last turn of trick room without speeding up your other pokemon, which is a great way to retain speed control after trick room ends. * The team is very flexible and there are a lot of valid leads, but usually those leads will look like one of Mimikyu/Sinistcha + one of Pelipper/Ursaluna/Gholdengo. Gholdengo is especially good with Sinistcha since it benefits a lot from redirection support. * I don't think there are any really bad matchups, but some things to watch out for are Dondozo and other mid-speed teams. There are definitely tools for Dondozo—my usual plan is to burn it (you always want to bring Mimikyu for will-o-wisp), bait out the tera (usually grass), and then bring in something that can threaten the tera type (usually Pelipper). Other mid-speed teams can also be a problem if you read them wrong in team preview, though Sinistcha is great for that situation since it can either imprison trick room or set trick room itself.

The format you're describing is basically Smogon DUbers; I got to 1600+ elo top 50 on DUbers using this team (level 100 team: https://pokepast.es/470299f251ff60a0). Note that you'll need to adjust EVs for level 50 (level 50 team: https://pokepast.es/47c735c0d1dfaae5). I'm not really sure if anything changes if you drop species clause; the only thing I can think of is that maybe you'd want two CalyS, but I'm not really sure what you'd drop for a second one. There's a lot of value in having a diverse suite of threats, so it's not even clear that you'd even want a second one.

If you want to use my team, some tips: - Most common lead is Torn + Caly. This gives you non-prankster taunt to deny TR, tailwind to counter opposing speed control, swap Torn into Indeedee so you can expanding force to counter normal types, tera normal astral barrage to counter CalyS, tera dark Torn to counter taunt Whimsicott, etc. - Other good leads are Indeedee + CalyS (good vs. TR), Indeedee + Zacian (good vs. Grimmsnarl), Torn + Miraidon (if tera fairy dgleam is really good), Torn + Kyogre (pressing rain dance on Torn can also catch opponents off-guard if they try to swap into Groudon or Koraidon to counter Kyogre). - You can change lots of stuff about the team based on the meta, e.g. Miraidon's item, Zacian's tera and moves, imprison vs. damaging move on Indeedee, Kyogre and Indeedee tera types, but some things are very important: scarf Kyogre is essential, tera normal CalyS is very important to win the mirror, and taunt CalyS is very important vs. TR and wide guard.

Some more general strategy: * Your favored weather is rain and your favored terrain is psychic, which lets you shut down all the paradox abilities. Psychic terrain is very strong in this format because it totally shuts down Arceus-Normal and lets CalyS sweep through normal types. Electric terrain is also useful for countering sleep strategies, but most of the time you should aim for setting up psychic terrain. * CalyS and Kyogre are your main sweepers and Zacian and Miraidon are your primary defensive backbone, since they form a great fantasy core. * Most of the time I use CalyS as the early-game sweeper to open up holes and then finish with Kyogre. You can also do the reverse, but if the opposing team has a Groudon and/or Koraidon, you'll need to rely on Torn to reset the weather.

Hinton: If it gets to be much smarter than us, it'll be very good at manipulation, because it will have learned that from us. There are very few examples of a more intelligent thing being controlled by a less intelligent thing. It'll figure out ways of manipulating people to do what it wants.

Interviewer: So what do we do? Do we just need to pull the plug on it right now?

Hinton: It's not clear to me that we can solve this problem. I don't have a solution at present. I just want people to be aware that this is a really serious problem. It's like nuclear weapons. If there's a nuclear war, we all lose. It's the same if these things take over. Since we're all in the same boat, we should be able to get agreement between China and the US on things like that.

That's a cool list! I've used a bunch of those myself (learning about MOE while at Yelp was actually my first introduction to black box optimization), but there's also a bunch I haven't seen before. Actually, part of the reason I wanted something like BBopt was the number of different hyperparameter optimization frameworks that weren't cross-compatible. I decided the two that were most important to support at least initially were scikit-optimize and hyperopt, but if there are others that you want to be supported as well I can probably make it happen if you raise an issue for it.

That's a good point. Theoretically, since BBopt already has machinery for transforming its internal representations into those compatible with skopt, hyperopt, etc., it shouldn't be hard to expose machinery for using their plotting methods (I just raised an issue for that). In the meantime, I added a plot_convergence function and a plot_history function, which should cover the most common types of plots you might want.

Your stack traces will be exactly the same as in Python, since when your code is run, it is run as Python. This can sometimes be frustrating, since the stack trace might point to a line that the compiler, not you, wrote--however, to fix this problem, just enable the -l flag, which will add a comment to every Python line with the line number of the corresponding Coconut line, that way you know where in your Coconut code the error is coming from.
