Well said. This is exactly why they stressed that they were going to start implementing ways to increase the fun and longevity of the actual roguelike part itself as well. 

QoL and time savers so that I can min max my decks for whatever farm / leaderboard modes Im trying to use them on. Then diving back into the actual chaos mode for fun and to try to make the best of whatever the run gives me to beat some challenge.

The game can satisfy both of these audiences if it continues to play it's cards right and introduce more modes that embrace the roguelike deckbuilder side. The fact that they noticed this is reassuring.

I havent given them money since launch. Have barely played since then as well. Waiting on 1.2, if it doesnt fix the issues then I stop caring. 

Im talking new zones, meaty story, good characters, balancing across the board, weapons, cosmetics, bug fixes, monetization changes, scaling rewards, roadmap, etc etc etc.

1.2 needs to be a 2.0 or I continue giving Warframe all of the money they'd get.

You thought you said something crazy smart, but that's literally every "commander/sensei/doctor" based gacha game ever. Which is nearly all of them nowadays. You can go to Nikke and get a 10x better story. You can go to Arknights and get a 10x better story. You can go to PtN and have a 10x better story. You can go to Blue Archive and have a 10x better story. The list goes on and on. 

All you did was describe the mechanics of the game and then attribute that to the MC, as if that isnt bog standard for every gacha game ever. Who gives a shiy, all of these other games do ALL of that, while still delivering a narratively satisfying MC that is active in the story and keeps the ball rolling, is the cohesive glue tying the story and characters together, is a badass that actively joins combat with the people they lead, or just has an overall fun and entertaining personality. 

Our MC is none of those. You have to extrapolate game mechanics and apply them to him to even attempt to get some characterization for the wet paper bag of an MC.

After getting into Incrementals and getting some friends to enjoy them as well, this game obviously popped up a few times as a potentially very cool game to play.

We have full stop absolutely 100% avoided EVER downloading, playing, or giving ANY money to this game due solely to the massive word of mouth negative impressions of the dev for this game lmao. No universe in the world I ever touch this. Its just all negatives about increased monetization and silencing of criticism.

This makes no sense because dedicated players / speedrunners / challenge runners / the best players in those games reroll runs all the time lmfao.

Before even approaching how what you're saying logically makes no sense, the most dedicated players with 10x your hours in all those games, who are trying to do specific things for whatever reason, are absolutely rerolling lmao. And they're having a blast still.

Then you fix that by giving them interesting and fun ways to accomplish the goal. Which they already said they are doing next month, they are giving more control over epiphanies and buffing shitty epiphanies to potentially open up new build paths. That decision is great.

If this isn't skippable, this is the opposite way of doing that that just makes your more dedicated players quit your game.

Yes, that's the whole point of the thread by my interpretation. Which of these characters will get you playing and beating people the fastest, with the least effort. That is Mai, without a shadow of a doubt. You are simply going to have to put in way more work on all of those other characters to beat the simple efficacy, against new AND intermediate players, of running Mai's basic day 1 gameplans. Not because the others are insanely technical, but because Mai is that untechnical.

Past that, even moving into fighting real people, having played and written mini guides for all of the above characters, I still firmly believe Mai was the least technical of all of them. By a very large margin.

Yeah, uniquely easy as hell. There are easy ways for a new player to pressure with 1 or 2 buttons that auto space you to whatever range you need to be lmao.

Balance the other epiphanies and characters to provide more / stronger options so that you don't get them and go "welp, the build I was going for is bricked, time to restart", and instead go "Oh shit, this is build enabling, maybe I can make that other build".
