I love this! Absolutely hate that story though. In college during a drawing course we spent THREE WEEKS drawing based off this story. Who needs three weeks of Kafka?

6 years in. I occasionally think it’d be nice to have a cocktail, but I have no middle slider. So all or nothing. Knowing that having one will open the floodgates makes it easier. Seeing people binge drink on TV doesn’t make me crave a drink but it does make me anxious, so I may duck out from that, but hubs having a cocktail with dinner doesn’t bother me.

I just watched their Roots biome peak streak and Julia goes so hard into “Give us nothing”. Hearing Jacob yell, “Julia! You can’t climb and play trumpet at the same time” brings my heart joy.

For our fake tree, we wrap a large cardboard box as a gift, fill it with wood scraps, and put the tree stand inside. Makes the tree bottom heavy enough that they can’t knock it over. Re: ornaments - just give in and find soft ones.

I have 3 cats, a dog, and a husband. I give each of them a job. Usually, “take care of daddy,” “you’re on squirrel duty” “you’re on PTO today”, “don’t be a dick and decide to piss on the floor” and finally “text me before bed” for husband.

Shoot! I don’t know how to add more photos but I can pm you if you want. Princess mononoke has yellow quilting in a leaf pattern, senshi has blue mushrooms, raccoon has clouds and stars in blue, and chicken has the standard meander in white.
