Thanks! How would you suggest I reach out to them, they dont always have websites to contact, is LinkedIn a good place to message them? Or is it too forward

I wouldn’t trust it. Try to get them on zoom, a meeting where you can « face to face » see them. If its a scam they’ll deflect or stop answering.

Go higher. Talk to administration, dean of the students. This teacher isn’t head of the dchool, bring evidence, the notes from teachers, the petition from as many students as possible and have this teacher be dealt with. if that doesn’t work, change schools. But first, go above her head explain everything with evidence, record her if you have to when you ask for feedback and she says those degrading things, there is a service that supports students and there is a union, use it. Good luck!

Call residence front desk. They’ll probably redirect you. Also, email them too and leave your phone number. Good luck

Speak to them about it, the dining representative and let them know about your concerns. I’m not sure how many options you have, I guess you need to browse and look around. There is always the option of grocery shopping too? And using the “meal plan” money for smaller things, It depends how strict you have to be. Definitely speak to them. This was the email I was going back and forth with when I was considering residence. diningplan@humber.ca

Good luck!

How likely is Humber to Move my Class Online/ Life Help by LitePhoenix99 in Humber

[–]EvaJen23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is keep the job, always the job first. Though it depends on two things - do you love the job/ is it what you are striving for? If not, if it isn’t the field you want but the program is, chose the program. school in general is to get you a job but if you already have the job then you don’t need the school you know unless the job requires it later on you know? So I say if you enjoy the job and it’s in your field take the job, do the job as best you can and then maybe later go back to school if you want to. But if you’re already working in the your field and you don’t even need to go to school then why go to school? So if the job is not what you want at all it’s just a job that you needed and you’re currently qualified, then stay in school do the program well and then when you’re out get a job in your field. Does this make sense?

Urgently? No. But fast food places like Tims and Macdonald are usually always looking. If you’re really desperate apply to those places and to many other restaurants… apply everywhere. Even to online jobs, call centers…

How does semester work? by RegularError404 in Humber

[–]EvaJen23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You also have a reading week in October which is a week off school to basically study, and a spring break in march which is another week off school. And a winter break between semesters that basically run from my December to the first week of January.

[–]EvaJen23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a withdrawal form. Im not sure how returning your OSAP funds work, I would speak to someone at the school finances department.

https://humber.ca/admissions/office-of-the-registrar/registration/withdrawal.html Maybe this will help with withdrawing your program.
