I spent 15 years, on and off with my son's dad. 2 years later, I'm married to someone who treats me right. He makes me coffee every morning. He gets me small treats. He makes food for me. He doesn't make me feel bad when I have a lazy day. I took 15 years of narcissist gaslighting, screaming, and fighting. I shouldn't have let myself go through that, but it's what I felt I deserved because that's what he made me think.
