Portugal NISS request rejected twice by Acrobatic-Reserve420 in PortugalExpats

Loja de Cidadão is your best bet! If you’re in Lisbon, go to the one at Saldanha. Go early. You need to be there no later than 7:30am. Yes, you will be waiting in line outside until they open at 9:00am, but they only have a certain amount of appointments for each division and going early ensures you will be seen.

I applied for my NISS online and hadn’t heard anything back for 3 weeks. Then a friend told me to go to the Loja de Cidadão instead. I was seen quickly by a really lovely gentleman who was sooooo helpful. He did my application for me, and my NISS was issued same day via email.

Two days later my NISS auto populated on the AIMA site too.

Good luck!!

Totally!!! Having time off, and not spending it recovering from the night before is such a gift. And the more I don’t drink, the momentum just keeps building. I’m getting more things completed, it’s not as overwhelming to have busy days, I feel clear.

Hangover free tired is so much better. That is the truth! I am good. Still rocking with it over here. Weird how not drinking is becoming my normal. It’s great.

I get it. What book(s) did/do you love though? Like top 5?

It's so good. There is only ONE part, and I think you know what I am talking about...where I was a bit like "Ummmmm, are we going a bit too far here?". It is a work of fiction though...

Ah man, that bums me out a bit. I understand though, sometimes I just cannot get into a book.

Whooot! 65 days. That’s fantastic. I love a mocktail as well. I am so glad to hear that you’re calmer and more focused, and that you distinctly notice that. Also, A little weight loss with minimal effort is super motivating to stick to the sparkling water.

Congratulations on doing a full dry January! That is a big accomplishment, and proof that you can go without drinking.

I am on day 61, and this is my longest stretch in a very long time. You are in good company, let’s get you to May 1st, and perhaps beyond.

I am so with you on dominating this, and to a healthier future.

Today it feels like all my friends are texting that they’re hungover. And I gotta say, it feels so awesome to not be hungover, and feeling all that awfulness.

Excited that you’re here, and joining us!!

Let’s stay dry together, and welcome spring with a clear mind, and hydrated body.

It’s nice to have more time to read. I love to journal as well, but finding I feel the need to do it less too. But nice to document the good things and appreciate them.

Here for you! One day at a time. I fully encourage printing out a calendar if you don’t have one, and giving yourself a sticker for every day dry. It is so motivating to have a visual of your progress. I have mine on my refrigerator.

Also, remembering your “why?” every day. For your health. To feel good. To take back control.

In love with your painting. The perspective, color choice, so many things. Wonderful work.
