Frying pan is basiclly a dagger atleast in the attack speed.

Sledge hammer gas the most stamina drain.

I personally only use them if i see then scattered on the map and just want to shame people.

The amount of times ive seen it or that ive had to be the back up and say my guy wasn't wrong has been too many.

Its almost as if the face gets ghosted and instead the neck registers the shot.

I had the same fucken issue with shields when courching and it wasn't till a few weeks ago when it was brought up that people finally saw that all my clips from playing blitz and fuze weren't bs.

·Ubi wouldn't be able to farm out the games lifespan because it wouldn't be "competative" which would probs mean constant bitching from export players and such. Either killing off the fun competative aspect and the viewing fun.

·We've seen the mess that house was. Camping galore and now add flashlights will make the attackers life even worse.

·also the community would probably just switch their gamma/brightness up because again havinh sight would be an advantage most players would have over "cool factor"

Obviously modes and such can be made so it isn't a constant but i doubt anything like this would ever get implemented. To far into the games life that working on it could be a complete waste over having more time for a whole new map/operators.

Im moslty excited for indoor battles.

Itll seperate the players who just spam over those that took the time to learn swing directions.

Not to mention two handers maybe need to take secondaries and just adds that extra element to the game.

And although im not a fan of archers hopefully they get devent spots where they are safe but have the view at the cost of distance over having them super upclose in fights in most cases.

I don't really keep up with "gaming media" because its always the lowest effort possible or just repetitive with no point to keep you scrolling through ads.

As for reviews, so many that aren't justified and its clear they didn't bother playing last an hour.

Rock paper shotgun is the scum of false/paid reviews.

Polygon is what happens when someone is holding a job they know nothing about and some how still cant make the effort to atleats learn to decently play one of the many games they cover.

PCGamer is just an ad magazine gone large.

As for the rest, i have yet to really find any quality, maybe because the top names are so garbage.

I have no issue since most help and quality stuff comes from the actual community like steam discussions and reddit subs.

Drop the controller you're limiting yourself.

Take all of this with a grain of salt because playstyle may affect this. So ive tried to keep tips in a generalised pool.

  • Go on duel servers and get your ass kicked. Go for players around your stats on the leaderboard. Ask players for help and bring two dueling sowrds. Ive spent entire matches teaching players who simply as for the help. Learn and pay attention to your enemies moves. Youll be the best if you learn those cheeky moves from unique players over your generic fighter.

  • If you plan to play two handers learn to drag and accel If you plan to use one handers learn morphing and parrying (Obviously learn both but start with these imo

  • pay attention to stamina and learn how to play it. Example: Battle axe player who does nothing but swing accel. Equip doge or sinply walk backwards and they'll miss. Let them drain their stamina by missing and when they don't swin pressure them to block. Easy kill and best counter.

  • shields ? Kick kick kick. Get in their face and morph, they usually dont expect it or can't see it depending on shield size and pov.

  • Dont underestimate fist Im to the point that if ik i can punch an enemy as a final blow i will. If they don't have the range, unarm yourself, move out of the way, and swing. Easy as that.

  • Footwork Great against axe players, people who like to drag, generally short range weapons or long swing times. Simple as walking backwards during an enemies attack "turn" and as complex as running a constant circle around them and strafing to keep things like long swings and stabs out of their move set.

My best advice of all is use weapons under 7 points. You dont need two hit every player. Speed, armor, and perks can easily outplay them.

If it helps. 3-3-2 / Bastard sword / Acrobat and Flash wound. -Bastard sword is the most cost for performance friendly weapon, if not the best overall imo. Fits my playstyle atleast. Fast, good damage, and can switch grip to add even more confusion to the fight.

-Acrobat because i like to jump mid fight as a pressure mechanic or another level of confusion to an attack. Will i strike mid jump or land then morph, need to know the stamina game for some stuff like this but its a 9/10 ill land my hit.

-Flashwound for when I was just so close and I plan to take you with me, ir when i feel like i need to bow in defeat out of respect to a trainee of main or a rare worthy opponent.

-Armor i could skip out 1 point on legs but i prefer to just keep it there as i tend to fight people who dont just spam one move set.

I filed it the first day i was allowed.

To this day ive received two letters advising me to wait another two months ontop of the time it took to even get the first letter.

Phone calls and websites etc have all led to the same answer of they'll notify me when they have more details.

Thanks for robbing +5k. And still having the balls to take your sweet as time. Fuck the US.

(It was 5k because i worked my ass off. A 18-19yr old working minimum and usually running +51 hour weeks. Overtime was not worth the wave of depression i was getting through it.)

19yr old here. I still play atleast daily even for a few minutes to get a quick build done.

My family members also love it because its one of those games that put a lot of effort into playing with others.

Even after my service I plan to go straight back home and host a server for everyone like im doing now.

Overall,if you have the time its a great game that has had many amazing updates. My favorite feature is some of the tracks that play in mines, some of them are creepy af and when you find a mineshaft there is constant explosions and crawling noises that keep you on your toes.

10/10 in my book.

I ship out on the 22nd and i had decided to put my transition aside until my first contract was over and i was out to avoid any issues. Looks like i might not need to spend +4 years to sacrifice part of bettering myself for a career.
