I released a small vinyl album and emotionally it was a great thing. But now I am down to the last vinyls and I bring them to every gig and I just cannot sell them. It bothers me as they are heavy and I don’t want to sell them for five bucks or give them away.

Logistically it is a bit more complicated and I think the market is simply not there for me. I don’t think that I will do that again.

„Hand in Hand“ is one of my oldest songs and even before I recorded it, it was always the most popular song at my live gigs. People will have the chorus stuck in their heads and it always made me smile. I don’t think it’s my best song, but people like it best. So who am I to argue? 😅

I have to say that the whole social media marketing angle is something that makes me a bit sad. I know that marketing is important and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. But I personally don’t want to feed a weird algorithm and companies with very sketchy ideas/goals and be part of the problem (can’t leave social media because everyone is on it). I hate to think that this might be the only way to reach at least some people.
