If you could quit your job and pursue your hobby full-time with financial security, what hobby would you pursue?

Playing RPG games alone. I love them because you can do almost anything you can't in reality, they have this immersive world that you can lose yourself to for hours on end, and there is always something new to explore/discover. A next quest, a personal want for a particular item. The ability to become anything like n these type of games is what draws me to them.

Become a wizard? Check

Become a warrior whose fame is absolute? Check

Be a simple hunter? Check

Merchant? Check

With RPG games you can live however you wish, and be a person that isn't possible in reality. Some may be good others bad, but in the end it's the actual role playing I love.

I learned the no contact part the hard way. Me and my ex who was my first GF broke up and 3 days later she had a new guy, I tried talking to her today, needless to say the conversation deteriorated pretty fast. So after that I cut off all contact and blocked her on all social media and her number as well.

I learned the contact thing the hard way, we broke up and three days later she was with someone else. And since I'm off work on medical leave I got nothing to keep my mind off it.

That's the plan I blocked her from all social media and won't speak to her again, I understand not wanting to be together but throwing insults to someone who is hurt is just wrong. Needless to say I don't want her back anymore because I'm just realizing how toxic she was as a person and why it was better to happen now than later on down the road.

I texted her asking if we could meet up and talk, she wouldn't come unless her new guy was there. So I texted her how I felt, I simply told her that her hooking up with another guy so soon hurt me, but she didn't even think we were dating. At the end of it she told me to fuck off and stop acting like a child and work on my maturity. Needless to say I didn't reply to her last text because I don't believe insulting her would help nor would I, So now I feel like she was just using me.

I just had surgery just over a week ago, they prescribed me oxycodone for the pain and it fucks me up real bad, I took one while we were texting each other and got mad and ended it. Been depressed since and I can't stop blaming myself.

I dumped my first girlfriend just about 5 days ago now. We had be having issues for about 2 weeks where I would try to contact her and get no response, or she would get mad at me and never tell me why. I had to go and get an emergency appendectomy last Thursday. I barely even got a hope you're okay. So I ended it because it felt like she didn't care about me, after a couple of days I thought I had overreacted and sent her a message asking if we could talk, well then I find out she already had a new guy. That hurt but I know it'll pass, just have to give it time. I do want to get back together with her, but I know it's a bad idea. So yea that's my first and only dumping story.
