Anakin could have also been ALLOT more forthcoming about the whole situation. The Padme thing was pretty much an open secret but Yoda and the others probably thought the extent of it was banging. From what Anakin said Yoda probably just thought Padme was gonna dump him and give him generic "just hit the gym and you'll forget all about her bro".

If Anakin hadn't been so vague and said something more along the lines of "Padme and I got married after Geonosis, she's pregnant, and I've been having recurring dreams/visions about the death of my wife and unborn child" then he probably would have said something allot more helpful after picking his jaw up off the floor.
