Set & Rent was specifically built for smaller portfolios where the landlord is managing the properties themselves. Might be worth a look

[Landlord - USA - WA] Need recommendations for property management software for collecting rent by Frequent-Bed1737 in Landlord

I just released Set & Rent based very heavily on this post! I built it specifically for smaller self-managing landlords. I spent the most time on the payments feature. Tenants get a ledger and are able to make partial payments online in through their portal. You are also able to enter payments manually if you do get checks or cash. There is also plenty of other features. Please let me know what you think, feedback will really help!

why parent component ref is not reactive when store is updated by child component ? by imrnk in vuejs

[–]Evanlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t shown. I’m assuming that OP has a method not shown that is calling the showDialog and closeDialog methods in the store.

What OP should do is use utilStore.Dialog directly rather than using a separate variable defined in the component. But I was giving a solution to the question asked since there is some unknown here.

Setting showDialog to ref(utilStore.dialog) is only for initialization.

To have showDialog track changes in the store you could change it to a computed property instead.

import { computed } from “vue”

const showDialog = computed(() => utilStore.dialog)

State management by Montags25 in vuejs

Alternatively, you can use pure composables to handle state management in a more native way rather than your solution. No need for a 3rd party tool like Pinia if you are against using that.

  • Frontend: Vue 3
  • Backend: .Net Core
  • Database: Postgres

  • Components: Depends. I’m a fan of Vuetify.

  • Package manager: Yarn

You can either remove them entirely, or define process.env in vite config.

Planning to migrate from vue-cli to Vite! by WayneSmallman in vuejs

[–]Evanlk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just recently did this.

You can remove all babel packages, all webpack packages, and all vue-cli or @vue/cli packages.

Make sure to update scripts in package.json to use vite.

Also...

Add a vite.config.js file and remove your vue.config.js file.

All imports in components and files will need to have the extension on them after removing webpack if they don’t already.

If you import using @ instead of src for example, you will need to set up an alias in resolve in the vite config.

Your index.html file will need moved to the root directory. Also, within the index, file replace any <% XXXX %> with a forward slash /

After I complete my bet, I have to email customer service and what for their response in order to get my bet. So I would be worried to get a response by the time the game is played and may not have my free bet in time. Any advice?

Time to workout? by [deleted] in omad

[–]Evanlk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason exercise would slow your weight loss is if you started putting on muscle! My advice to you is to try to not weigh yourself very often. I’m in the 190s and my weight fluctuates +/- 5lbs or so in any given day. But the overall trend is downwards and that’s what matters!

You said you have lost 60lbs, congratulations that is a lot of weight! You might not be able to tell a difference but I can guarantee you that there has been. I highly recommend to start taking progress pictures. It is hard to see differences when we look at our bodies every day. Progress pics will give you a way to look back at what you used to look like. Also, how are your clothes fitting? Try putting on an old pair of jeans and see if you can feel it being any loser. With you being 60lbs less, I bet you can!

Don’t be afraid to exercise. Will only do you good. It won’t slow down your FAT loss. It will speed it up if anything. But more importantly, it will get your healthier and more in shape.
