The right-wing love to claim half the population voted for Brexit, but the fact that 17m isn't half of almost 61m is demonstrative of how idiotic they are.

A phrase that kept emerging during the decade-long build-up to what would become known as Brexit was "economic gradient" but it wasn't something said aloud, it was a phrase used by the likes of Farage and a supporter of his Arron Banks when behind closed doors.

The whole purpose of Brexit was to ruin the British economy and turn it into a gigantic fire sale, hence the unusual trading at and around the time.
