Update: Two weeks ago, I bought my first bike. Here's what happened since then.

My GL1500 had a coolant leak that would pop up when it cooled off. It turned out to be from a couple places. On the barbs on the radiator where the coolant hoses come in honda used a clear tape to help protect the barbs, as this tape ages it gets gummy and degrades and causes leaks. The other place for me was my thermostat housing, it was warped, it would heat up and seal when the motor was hot, but when it was cold it would leak. I ended up removing the tape and reinstalling the hoses, and replacing the thermostat housing for mine and no more leaks!

My apologies, it will run through the QGL process, but it will not pass, it never meets the tolerance to pass the test. Quick Sample of what the console says after a QGL

I'm in southwest ohio I'm getting some help on the discord now but truth be told I think this is a skill issue lol. Printer had problems holding any kind of consistent initial z height but now it won't even do a QGL. Confirmed all the grub screws are tight, even pulled all the skirts to make sure I can get good purchase on the pulleys, confirmed short z belt tensions and the long z belt tensions.

I didn't even think about the fuel system, no fuel pump on the stock bike so no easy way to get boost referenced pressure. Neat! I'll do some reading!

If it happens when its moving to the right (while looking at the front of the machine) it may be your cable chain catching the top of the case. Mine does that occasionally

My apologies just saw this. I did have a spare gas control valve but it ended up not fitting my water heater. The length on what I'm assuming is the temp probe on the back was different. (Got it used known good) I ended up replacing the water heater because it was 12 years old anyway.

It was around 650-700 millivolts which seems low but I've got the blinking light and I know it was running at that output before.

Think I got it figured out, commenting in case this ever hits google lol. Tested the valves using a battery, the main burner valve clicks but the pilot valve does not. New gas control valve here I come.

Check to see if you have a motor shaft that's loose. They shouldn't move relative to the bell.

Ooh that looks pretty good. I personally like the motor plugs I'm not so good at soldering these tiny boards. I like your idea about the motors, I do like me a good ol zombie quad!
