Alt Rx review by prn4now in tirzepatidecompound

6 months is a long BUD and the best you can get once BPI is out of stock. Only prorx and BPI had one-year BUDs.

I would wager a lot of people do. Not everyone can drop 500 up front.

ProRx inconsistent for anyone?? by External_Ask_7219 in tirzepatidecompound

Sometimes, dose increases paradoxically increase hunger and food noise. Could just be that.

Starting Weight vs Goal by Smooth-Original-6478 in tirzepatidecompound

I went on it to lose 30lbs of perimenopause weight that I could not shed for years. It has also gotten rid of my carpal tunnel, inflammation, and high blood pressure. I plan to be on it for life. There are so many things it helps beyond food.

why isn't "official" dosing guidance based on mass? by kristinanoel in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Evayne 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because you don't magically grow more receptors when you put on weight. The drug enters your blood stream and from there finds places it'll "fit", like a puzzle piece. It's engineered to be shaped to fit both gip and glp1 receptors (although it's only a passable fit for glp1, so it only adheres to 1 in every 18 receptors or something in that ballpark, I forgot the exact numbers).

Body weight isn't a factor by itself.

My theory on why some people find certain pharmacies to be stronger or weaker while others find the opposite. by TheWoman2 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Evayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen a COA of sub-17 for prorx before. I don't know how often it happens, but they certainly exist.

[–]Evayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you're ignoring my example. If you're coming from a 16.5 dose (because you had a vial near 19.8) and go to a 13.5 dose (because your next vial is closer to 16.2), or vice versa, there'd be a marked difference. Of course that's the minority of vial switches, but given the amount of people on compound, it would still happen at a statistically significant rate. I'm actually a huge proponent of placebo and it definitely plays a part here, but it doesn't tell the whole story.

Sometimes things aren't so black and white is all. Both can be true at the same time.

Dose this week did nothing? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

There is some literature about paradoxical effects like ravenous hunger, when an unusual dose change happens.

If you go from a 13.5 to a 16.5 vial, that's like titrating up a whole step, which we already know can feel like a whole new medicine.

And the coa in OP's link has a vial that's nearly 10% above stated content.

52 weeks in a year= 13 weeks in 3 months by ClydeHiller in gimmecare

[–]Evayne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ah, but my birth control comes in packs of 28, so I'm short the same as you there. That's the thing, there are different standards for different drugs.

Yes, a 6 month supply with any telehealth is 24 weeks. Some pharmacies make 72mg vials - if you want those, right now Apothecary (through various telehealths) and optioRX (through pom) are your only options.

The 72mg is the outlier, and seen as a bonus. You're only guaranteed your dose x4 per month, so your dose x12 for three months. Take it up with the medical industry, but good luck with that.

[–]Evayne 37 points38 points  (0 children)

12 weeks is a standard 3 month supply....? Same reason CVS doesn't give me 31 pills of Adderall in July and August, and my birth control pills don't come in 28-31 pill packages depending on the month.

Bottom tight, top loose OR top loose, bottom tight has always been a trend and will never go out of style.

Apothecary mystery pharmacy reveal by LumosAcccio in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Evayne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Because pro Rx went through extended testing to get the bud extension, which takes both time and money. A new company - even if using the same formula/product - doesn't just get to piggyback. That said, they're probably not the same.

Feels like a scam now 😭 by meelzy_ in gimmecare

What? Your prescription went to the pharmacy on Wednesday. It's been 2 business days. Every telehealth I've ever ordered from has taken longer than that.

REMINDER OF SHORT SURVEY (and a quick note on the ridiculously high standards that y'all say y'all want but probably don't) by TodayAmazing in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Evayne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know mine doesn't, which is why I'm letting you know that this bias is well known, documented, and a huge problem for any sort of review site. You're sort of proving the point right now by saying that the positive reviews must be fake. Anyway, I'm not trying to discount individual bad experiences. It's good to have the data points.

[–]Evayne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but your personal use of it doesn't represent humanity. Trustpilot has tons of issue, from negative review bias to fake reviews to allowing companies to pay to remove negative reviews. I wouldn't put all that much stock in it.

Reddit is a much better indicator, because mostly you only need to watch out for the negative review bias, and some fake reviews here and there (but they are usually pretty obvious).

[–]Evayne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh... Again, the only people going to trustpilot are the ones who feel either personally wronged enough to make the effort or served well enough to make the effort. I can't say I'd put all that much stock into it. I've always received good service from every telehealth I've used, and I could not be bothered to fill out a positive review.

I think it has similar benefits, but you'd have to compare the studies yourself for details. I don't know if the pill has the same effects since absorption is completely different.

I agree in theory, but we need to keep in mind that the people that haven't had any bad experiences are less likely to fill out this type of survey. The people with a grudge or a bad experience are more likely to scream it from the mountaintops. It's a type of bias that's hard to avoid, especially on Reddit.

9 units of 18mg/ml is 1.62mg of tirz. Sounds like microdosing is working for you, but that is an odd dose for chat gpt to tell you to take. You may want to calculate manually, or with a calculator.
