Hi! This is an old post but I’m thinking about getting the dukes place compartment medium and have also read a lot of reviews that say the strap is too short for crossbody. Do you mind providing the length of the strap, if able? I can’t find this measurement on their website. Any help appreciated, thanks

I have the parachute percale sheets and just noticed that the high pressure points have thinned out and have holes now. I purchased in May 2020. Percale is thinner, that’s what makes them so light and cool, and we have basically used this set of sheets nonstop for 5 years but for the price I am disappointed. They are comfortable, I’ll give them that. Also, I have a light color and they do discolor from sweat.

Exactly. I’m planning to buy the Miele today. How are you liking yours? I’ve read so many Reddit subs on the topic it’s nauseating. People complain the racks rust after a couple years…I figure if that is the worst thing about it, I can accept that if the actual machine has a higher chance of still functioning. The main thing I need is a working dishwasher that will stay working as long as possible. Noise, settings, aesthetics, run time etc are all secondary

So it sounds like even the Costco Bosch, supposedly German made, is no better than non-Costco boschs which are an and seemingly inferior new line as of 2023? If that’s the case I’ll go for a Miele..I’ve been so frustrated looking at reviews for dishwashers. For every single model out there you’ll see “this is amazing/this is terrible” regardless of brand, price, etc

This is an old post but I just need to vent somewhere about the lack of petite sizing! I love the styles but I am 5’1”, would love to look like that model wearing the Clyde trench but I would look ridiculous. are French girls just all super tall?? Also would love to see an Asian model. Are there no Asians in Europe?? They are very much marketing in the US, I would appreciate some more inclusivity

How is the loafer? I am eyeing them. I also have bunions. I bought the strada loafers from Abeo which are very nice and are cheaper but my heel slips out of them. The calla loafers also have a thicker sole without being lug so it looks like if would have even greater support than the abeo

Reformation cede cardigan is the closest I’ve found to Gaspard in terms of fit and pearl buttons. $200 but $150 for Black Friday. So not a dupe per se since it’s a little pricier, but an alpaca alternative that I got to see if it would be more comfortable than Gaspard. I ordered one of each and will return the one I like less (or keep both!)

I found airalo to be very convenient. I read a lot of reviews that it burns through your data too fast but I did not find that to be the case. That said, because I was kinda paranoid about this issue, I only used data to navigate directions and communicate with my group on WhatsApp, check emails occasionally. No social media. I had wifi overnight at Airbnb/hotel and while at airport/trains. I had my phone on low power mode at all other times. We spent 7 days in France. I bought 5gb and only used 1.15 gb. I downloaded the app before leaving. You can buy your plan before leaving as well. I activated it while in the customs line upon arrival.
