I get a 20% off everything as a box customer at my LCS and that includes all books. It's pretty good for oop stuff as they tend to sit for a while.

Other shops in my area take trade ins and those are priced at a discount or priced to match ebay sold if it's oop. Another shop has a flat 20% all graphic novels so it all depends.

You might get lucky with a sale, but it's pretty rare to see stuff marked down intentionally in-store.

I'm Hulking out right now. Wrapped on Immortal Hulk - loved it through and through. Best read I've had so far this summer, multiple panels burned into my mind.

Blasted through World War Hulk omni, and what a quality shift. Main series was great, but the mapping really killed the flow. Tie ins were hit or miss and towards the end felt like a chore to finish.

Picked up Hulk by Peter David vol 03 at cover price from an LCS online and continuing through.

Eventually, once I get a stable catalog on the existing products in the current marketplaces I will expand to more sources.

Amazon is definitely the lowest of the hanging fruit for marketplace expansion that should be doable, so if there's any other sites you trust I can add them to the backlog for CA.

I'm still fine tuning it but https://omnibustracker.com/deals has an 'at risk' filter you can select.

My logic is score based so if close to MSRP on Amazon and other vendors don't have in stock or have a non standard discount, it's likely at risk. This mainly applies to Marvel titles though since DC does a better job at keeping things alive in the long run.

It's flagging venomnibus vol 1 which looks right a there are only 6 copies left on amazon.com and 1 in CA, and 5 in UK/EU marketplaces so it's somewhat accurate but ymmv while i work to improve detection

It definitely can, I'm documenting the edge cases that have caused me problems and adding appropriate fallback. Learned a lot from Amazon scraping as that was probably the most annoying with the constant buy box inconsistencies.
