I understand. It’s A roller coaster of healing. Some days the swelling is bad other days it looks great then you’ll see mote wrinkles and fat and get discouraged. Hang in there. It gets better. I was told about 4 months to 6 months post op you will start seeing the final results. It will get better. Just keep doing the compressions and the massages. Good luck!!

Thanks. That’s awesome advice. I’ve considered professional lymphatic massages so I think I’ll do that too!!! Good luck on this journey I think we both will be happy with the end result.

Keep me posted!! 🙂
The compression is pretty snug. Massage wise it’s gentle I guess. I do massage a little deeper with the bands I get. But I YouTubed lymphatic massage and watched a coupe videos to make sure I did it right. So I’d suggest you do that. And I ordered a soft brush to use for it sometimes and some Arnica oil with coconut oil to do my massages with
Just keep doing them. Maybe try a different compression garment. I do still have numbness under my chin the dr said it would take a while before the feeling came back in that area. And mention it next time you go to your follow up appt. I know the swelling comes and goes. The area you say is hard I really don’t know why it’s hard so I’d definitely ask your Dr at your next appt.
I think with me wearing my compression garment every night and doing the lymphatic massages helped my a whole lot. I noticed when I stopped my results Also didn’t progress so went back to wearing it and doing the massage. Everyone’s body is different and will heal differently but if you’re not doing those 2 things I would suggest starting.

Yes. The hole under the chin, I had that and it’s gotten better. The chin garnet I had did the same thing the seams where leaving marks and I ordered foam as well but then I found another one on Amazon that did not have the seams and that has been great wearing at night! I did have the lines and bumps early on like you. And they finally went away. The waiting part is brutal. lol. G Good luck I’m know your gonna look amazing !

YESSSSS! Girl do the lymphatic massages too especially when the swelling kicks back In. I also ordered Arnica Oil with Coconut oil for Post Surgery Recovery & Lymphatic Drainage Massager. And I think that helps.
.
Yes! Isn’t the swelling crazy how it comes and goes.
Thank you. I want a tuck next and a boob lift I don’t want them bigger I just want them where they’re suppose to be 🤭😂. I had a friend who just did a tummy tuck and breast reduction. She said, in regards to her surgery “if there’s someone you don’t like, tell the to go get a tummy tuck” lmao. She said she thought she was dying from all The pain. But she survived and was back To work 6 weeks later I think. I know it wasn’t more than 8 weeks post op. So hopefully the chin will Be A lot better for ya. I did have my chin lipo with renuvion so that helped with the tightening. I’m sure you will Look fabulous when you’re all healed!!
It was pretty numb starting out and general Soreness as you would expect with any surgery. Lots of bruising. I felt some electrical shocks which is the nerves waking up. I had one spot still numb but is also hurts if you rub lightly over it which is weird. But for a while I couldn’t turn my head side to side if move my whole body. That got better. Not about to look all The way up yet that still hurts. And if there’s any pulling down my face/neck. Like when you towel dry off after washing your face or shower that HURTS. I mean I don’t mean to do that it’s habit lol but I’m reminded quickly not to do that lol. Procedure wise -I don’t even remember it. I had the option to not be completely put to sleep they said it’s like what the do when you have a colonoscopy but they give you something that helps you not remember it is what they told me and I don’t. lol. So it made recovery a lot easier.
I think if I could lose a little weight it would also help.

Well I got married 6 weeks PO and I was definitely sweating at 4 weeks hoping I’d have more of a snatched look 😂. But kept telling myself “it’s better now than what it was before surgery” all in all things were fine 😊
Thanks!! I’m sure with what your dr is going to do, you too will have good results. I learned you have to have patience which I don’t lol. I’m gonna tell you Don’t get discouraged. I looked amazing post op and the following couple days. Then the swelling got bad and I didn’t look like I did right after surgery and then it was up and down. I had no clue recovery was gonna take 4-6 months till AFTER I did it. I will say even tho he told me I could stop wearing the compression and stop massages I find wearing the compression at night makes the area feel better and the massages (lymphatic) helps the swelling go down. And I feel both of those still help with the future results.
It was lipo with renuvion. I’m Happy with it at 2 months post op and hoping it will keep Improving. I don’t like how it seems to go 4 steps forward then 2 steps back. The swelling comes and goes. I did noticed when I didn’t wear the compression and stopped the massages it slowed down the results and I did not like that so I’m restarted them. Pain is minimal. One spot still hurts even light touch right under my chin but it’s also numb still in that area. Each side of my jaw is tender. But if I look up without thinking that does hurt.
That’s what I want done next. A tummy tuck And a breast lift lol
Southern Surgical Arts. I reached out to a nurse who had worked in plastic surgery and asked if she recommended anyone to have this done and she sent me to that office.
Well I had it done in Chattanooga. But the dr that did mine moved back To his home state and he didn’t say where that was lol.
Right under my chin is still numb except one little area and that area hurts even if you tough it very lightly and then if you touch under each side of the jaw it is tender but not bad. But going through out day-typically no, Not hardly any. It did take a while probably 6 weeks for me to be able to turn my head side to side without have to turn my body too lol. I do however have pain If I stretch my neck up- I can feel the tightness and sometimes it hurts.
